Vincent slowly fades into existence into the world of Gaia. A brow is raised curiously as he looks around with his calm, crimson gaze. There was nobody around, as if the city was deserted. Not like Vincent cared very much. He preferred to spend his time in solitude. But that mysterious figure... he had mentioned something about gathering crystals.
He rolled his shoulders slightly as he jumped up on a house roof then leaped again onto another larger building, perching himself on a higher point to observe the city of Midgar. His arms were folded again, a posture he preferred to take when he was thinking about something. And, even from this view, the town seemed deserted.
The wind blew through his ragged, blood-red cloak, making it flow with the wind. The same thing happened with his waist-length, onyx hair, which fell over the topmost part of his face, which was now shadowed, giving off an eerie look about him.
Crystals...

Kail walks around trying to find him self again in this world, he then hears some say Crystals. He looks over to see a man dressed in black with a long raged red cape around his shoulders.
Kail walks up to him very slowly as he does not whant to fight this guy, his gut feeling tells him to not mess with him or he will end up six feet under and be pushing up daisys that minute.
"Uh excuse me but you mention some thing about crystals" Kail asks the man in black.

Squall was on his same world. But a completely different place. This place was huge, dark, and pretty loomy. He walked around and he saw a man in a red cape. Squall walked through the shadows as he saw another presence approach the red-capped man. The words from the mystery man kept ringing in his head. Crystals? Why did he needed the crystals?
Squall then stepped out of the shadows, and confronted the 2 men, he later realizied that hey were besides him during that mock battle were everyone was wiped out.
"I know you...both of you, were you mentioning something about crystals?" Squall asked.

Vincent moved his eyes to examine Squall slightly, not moving his head at all. He was silent for a moment, noticing that there actually were people here. He talks softly, almost inaudible, but everyone manages to hear him.
"Yes.. The one's that... figure was talking about."

(OOC: Forgive me for not being here today until later! >_<! My father was being a control freak all day! >_<!)
A red head was standing there as silent as can be as he smirked. Listening in on what everyone was saying before making his presence known. Reno had his metallic rod resting upon his left shoulder as he casually walked up to them. He recognized Vincent and then the other two nearby. The teenager he met a time before named Kail and the other guy who's name escaped him for he never even caught it. Though he had recognized the brown hair and eyes from before.
"Hey guys, how's it going?" he asked as he came up to where they were. A smile was upon his face as he peered at them all with his keen blue eyes. Midgar had become quite desolate due to the great population decrease. Reno was glad he wasn't one of the numbers that turned into stone. He had heard them talking about crystals. He hadn't any ideas as to what the crystals may be around here but standing around and doing nothing wasn't going to work either.
Reno wanted to get even with that fiend as he knew the others might've wanted to as well. "So....crystals this guy's looking for, right?!" he said as he looked from one to the other then out towards the desolate city. Reno heard that they didn't have any ideas as to what the crystals were and neither did Reno know. Maybe something like the Materia hanging around here? Only not as spherical as Materia? Reno shrugged and then said "I don't mean to intrude or anything but shouldn't we get moving if we want to show that guy we're more than he thinks we are? Get these crystals before he does?"

Squall looked at kail and thought "What the hell is this guy looking at?"
He then quickly shook the thought out of his mind and got closer to the 2 individual. Not shortly after, another individual came out of the shadows. it took a while, but he recognised him from the previous battle. It seemed they all knew each other for some reason. Squall felt a bit left out, but nevertheless, he went on responding.
"Really now? And how do we know we could trust you?" Squall asked at the guy with red hair, he didnt trust him.

Reno smiled a bit wider when Kail greeted him. "Good to see you to, Kail...and no....I don't have any leads." He then paused upon hearing the guy he recognized from the battle they all participated in. Reno raised an eyebrow at him. Of course, Reno understood that he wasn't exactly the trustworthy type. Due to past events that happened years ago during the Meteor incident. However, he had to at least give some reason why he wasn't about to be traitorous or anything.
"Well, let's see...there's not many other people around anymore now is there?! One, I'm not about to go against all three of you because it's likely you'll all kick my butt. And two, we're all on the same boat in case you haven't noticed!" he replied simply. His eyes on this guy. Not presenting any threat. Reno knew when it was time to team up with others and knew when to put aside differences as well. However, he doubted he'd be trusted anyways.
Maybe with Kail but it was unlikely Vincent or this guy would trust him anyways. Reno could easily maneuver a helicopter also which would be an advantage for them all because it'd make their trip a lot easier rather than walking the whole time. He then shrugged before saying "But....if you don't trust me there's nothing I can do!" Reno then turned to peer at Midgar. Unaffected by this man's words though he came to believe how much more difficult their situation was going to become if they couldn't cooperate. "Besides....four heads is better than three. Wouldn't you say?" he said as he then looked back to this man then to the others wondering what'd they would say.

"Anyway sorry for the rant uh....." Kail asks the guy in leather.

"Whatever" Squall said with a scoff. However, he saw the guy's point. But then he said,
"In case you havent noticed, he nearly killed us back there, how do we even beat such a foe?" Squall asked as he looked at the city, and the people that have been turned into stone. In Balamb garden, he was the only one that survived. So, his reason for gathering the crystals was to see the person he most cared about.
"Alright...We'll work together, but no funny stuff." Squall said as he brandished his gunblade.

Reno watched Kail tell the other off. He really hadn't seen this one coming nor did he know Kail'd do something like that. However, it did help a bit. Reno merely looked at the guy that obviously didn't trust him. Reno believed this guy had every right to be. After all, they all didn't know each other THAT well. He then found himself looking at this guy's odd weapon.
Reno shrugged at this. It didn't bother him in the slightest for he could fight as well. Being threatened with weapons wasn't new to Reno either. He had a lot of experience with it due to the fact Cloud did it to him a few times. "Yeah, yeah, yeah! I hear ya!" he replied with a mere wave of his free hand. He then pondered about the question pertaining to the entity before.
Reno shrugged before saying "I really haven't a clue but...we've got to do SOMETHING! I mean, I want my pals to come back too, ya know!" Especially his best friend Rude. He was the last Turk and found it odd to say he found it quite a bit lonely though it ended Tseng's constant shouting at him. "...That is....if the crystals even BRING them back!"

" All right then, my name is Kail " he said. He then brought his hand to his face if he was in thought, he then made a fist with his right hand and he then put it in his other hand. "I just thought of something, why not go to Shinra there the world power here they might have some info for us there" said Kail."Plus Reno works for them I think"

Vincent continues to stand back and look the other way, as if scanning for something. His messy hair blew slightly as he turns his head slightly to examine another part of the city, particularly the large building that seemed to be at the center of Midgar. As he did this, he kept silent, listening to the others talk about what to do next. When he heard names being addressed, he sighed, and said softly one word.
"..Vincent..."

Squall walked over to the wall and leaned on it. Upon doing so, he folds his arms and begins to think. He's always been cautious and aloof around others. He WAS a bit edgy, but he went back to his normal self.
"...Im Squall...a SeeD from Balamb Garden." He then heard kail speaking about something called Shinra coorporation. He never heard the name before.
He then looked over at Reno and said " Rush this, and we'll be walking into a death trap. I want to see a person dear to me too, but that's no reason to be rushing into battle. "

"Woah I did not mean it that way" as Kail puts his hand in mock surriender. "If most people have been put to stone by that guy then we would not fall for a trap, but if there are people there they might help us with this crisis" he said to Squall.
Kail was thinking over his options on what was going on and trying to make sense of all this.

Reno looked over at Kail when he mentioned heading out to the Shinra corporation. It was a good idea though there wasn't many people there since most of the population had been turn to stone. Reno's pals along with it. However, there could be someone they could get information from though he doubted any of them would knwo what they'd be talking about.
The red head glanced over at Squall. An eyebrow was raised as he heard this on telling him how to go through with things. Reno sighed before shaking his head. "I didn't say we had to rush into battle right now!" he said. What Reno meant was to actually DO something about their current situation. Standing around doing nothing and merely thinking about it wasn't going to help in the slightest. What they needed was to just start looking and maybe getting the crystals before that guy did.
"Just getting started seems good, better than just standing here."

Squall put his hand on his forehead and sighed. "...I didnt say that was your intention, but we need to think our next move. THEN act. " Squall then remained silent, he thought of getting the crystals, or going over to shinra coorporation. But how could that help? Chances were, most; if not all were turned to stone. But, they could at least try.
"....Lead the way." Squall said.

Reno raised an eyebrow when he heard Kail ask him this question. Of course he knew where Shinra HQ was. He was a Turk. He had been to Shinra HQ a number of times. How would he not know?! "Well...yeah....I do work there after all!" he replied. He then looked from Kail to where Vincent was and then to Squall who spoke next.
He shrugged upon hearing them wanting him to lead the way. Most likely, the people in there were mostly stoned and there'd be an unlikely chance any of them were alive. However, it was worth a try. No harm done in going, really. Reno then turned towards the largest building overlooking everything. That was Shinra HQ. Smiling, Reno said "Alright, follow me!"
He started walking towards the building. From where they were it was going to take a good walk but not too long of a walk. Still letting his rod rest on his shoulder as he went.

Vincent closed his eyes and opened them again, sighing. He rolls his shoulders somewhat and folds his arms as he jumps down from the building gracefully and lands on the ground, beginning to follow Reno. Of course, he already knew where the HQ was, but he didn't find himself much of a leader.

Squall watched Vincent jump down from a building. He was a bit amazed of his abilities, but nothing more. He was the last one to start walking, as he trusted no one. At least, not yet. He had been a leader countless times before, but, he just let Reno take the lead for now. Squall didnt like Reno that much, but, if they were to survive, they had to cope with. Reno reminded him of Zell, Squall then chuckled at the thought.
He shouldered his Gunblade as the 4 of them started walking torwards the giant worn-down building.

Kail follows Reno and the rest of these guys to the Shinra HQ in hope finding any clues to help them on there quest for these crystals befor that monster could get them. As there walking he goes over to Squall. " So Squall do you work for some type of Milatary or something" asks Kail trying to start a conversation with one of his group membres as he was old as Kail himself.

As they went, Reno sort of had a strange gait which looked like he thought highly of himself or was just merely enjoying himself despite the scenery around them. Ocassionally passing a stoned person here and there. Not paying any attention to those still figures that looked oddly like statues when clearly they weren't. Reno had led others once before but he didn't do it often.
However, he really wasn't paying any mind to the conversation being sparked up behind him. His blue eyes stayed focused on the Shinra HQ. It was slowly inching near. A nice walk though the silence made it less enjoyable to Reno. His metallic rod swaying to and fro with the motion of is walking. Still resting on his shoulder.
Eventually, he began to whistle a tune to himself in the meantime. Not that he cared if the others heard it. Shinra HQ getting closer and closer all the while the four of them had walked.

Squall slowly turned his head towards Kail, now asking if he worked for some Military organization.
"Yeah...Im a mercinary, our group is called SeeD, we're the best where I come from. Stronger than the average human that is...what about you? And...him." Squall said as he pointed at Reno, not wanting to reveal alot since he didnt really trust Kail yet.
He then heard whistling coming from Reno. He knew silence wasnt exactly his thing, but whistiling? That's something Squall hated.
"This guy is just like Zell....just my luck." Squall thought while shaking his head while he had his hand on his face.

" Well I can not speak for Reno, but for me well its a long one but I will make it short. I am a dimentioal traveler.I saved a few other worlds from destroyed by a demon god geting resercacted from the dead. I whent from world to world geting Six elemental crystals and hero's to stop it and in the end we killed it" Kail explaned his history to Squall but not all of it.
" But I was draged here by some unknown force and well here I am,but it came at a price I have lost all of my astral rune magic is almost gone, but I have goten some of it back and thensome" contiued Kail.
OOC- Kail is a character that I am useing in a story I'm writing, so these events he is explaning are from that story.

Reno could hear what they were talking about but he didn't know what Squall meant by 'him' due to the fact he had his back to them. For all Reno knew, Squall could be talking about either himself or Vincent. His whistling resumed but stopped as he glanced at his wristwatch to check how long the walk was taking. However, he caught what Kail said and then knew Squall was referring to him. He waited for Kail to finish his story before saying "Well, if you must know, I'm a Turk! Turks are known to uphold the law and order here as well as other things. It takes great skill to become one and as for myself, I can fight well above the normal human can." Reno knew better than to tell about the rest of his profession.
The red head sighed with frustration when he realized his wrist watch was broken from the last time. 'I'll make note to get a newer one in HQ!' he thought as he went. Not affected by what the others might've thought about him. That gait of his still there as he went. Finally, they were nearly there. They had just a corner to round and then they'd be facing a pathway leading toward the Shinra HQ. The building looming over them as they approached ever nearer. Reno knew than to say that his profession required sometimes kidnapping and the like. He didn't need Squall getting more suspicious of him already.
Reno chuckled a bit before he looked back at the other three. "Almost there!" He knew Vincent knew how to get to Shinra HQ and wasn't exactly telling him but Squall and Kail that they were almost there. The HQ looked a lot bigger up close. Reno wasn't affected by how the building blocked the moonlight. Making their path darker. The building was old and crumbling yet within it held alright. However, one had to be careful when taking the stairs which were now the only way going up since the elevators wouldn't work anymore. Weapon had seen to that. The stairs sometimes giving out and had to be replaced every so often. Eventually, Shinra was planning to move to a newer spot and rebuild the HQ there but that was all prevented due to that powder incident.

"Well, you're awfully confident in yourself arent you Reno?" Squall said. He then kept on walking, the building seemed to get bigger and bigger with each passing step. Finally, the gigantic building covered the moon, thus making it very dark to see. Squall moved a bit cautiously, seeing as he did not want to be attacked by a monster. Not that he couldnt handle a few monsters anyway.
Squall suddenly came to a stop. He then asked "Wait...what if no one survived? What would we do then?"
