Reno didn't say anything when he heard Squall's remark. That guy had a lot of nerve now didn't he?! Reno ignored him as he continued up to the building and finally approached the double doors leading in. He then turned back to the others upon hearing what Squall said. He would've answered but decided against it. Kail had basically said something that was worthy to be called an answer similar to what Reno would've said.
He stood there momentarily before then allowing his metallic rod to fall to his side. Reno decided how best to warn them of the current conditions within the Shinra HQ. It was crumbling on the outside alright but it was still better inside than outside. Though the stairs one had to be careful when going up. Sometimes the railing or stairs would give way. Luckily, no one had gotten hurt each time it happened. "Well, just to give you the heads up....the place is not entirely in good condition....be careful of falling debris and such. Mainly the stairs though they shouldn't be that bad."
His eyes went from Vincent to Kail and then Squall. He was sure Squall may give some smart ass remark. Not that he cared. The guy could say whatever he wanted for all Reno cared. He wasn't going to waste his time arguing with someone. He had more important matters to attend to such as getting their situation figured out. Maybe even getting his friends back from being stoned.

" Ah Reno can I ask what happend here" asked Kail when he saw the HQ of Shinra. As he looked around the building to see if any one that was not stoned or dead.
"The reason is I have not stayed here long to fined out what has happened here" said Kail.

Vincent had rolled his eyes slightly at Reno's remark about being a Turk, he disliked them, though Reno was different from the other somehow. What the others didn't know though, was that he also used to be one of the Turks, not like he was proud of it now. Thevery thought of thinking of his past made him cringe and close his eyes. He sighed lowly as they entered the buldings shadow, walkingas if nothing had changed and could see perfectly.
When they entered the building, Vincent closed his eyes and opened them simultaneously. The building back even more memories that he did not want to remember. But, in the eyes of the others, he stood confidently, reflecting nothing of what he was thinking.

" your eyes tell me that you where remanising on the past" he continued very curiosily to break the stoic man. "Some say that the eyes are the window of the soul".

Vincent slowly moved his crimson pupils to the corner of his eye to examine Kail with an expressionless gaze. He said nothing in response to his question. The last thing he would do was confide his memories with a complete stranger. Her starts walking forward and up the rickety stairs, cloak flowing behind him, not really caring if they could support his weight or not.

Reno had looked inquiringly at Kail when he asked him yet another question. The red head thought for a moment on the best answer to give them. He then looked back at the HQ upon entering it. "Let's just say the planet got even with Shinra!" he replied. Weapon was what caused the Shinra HQ to have become so run down. Weapon had literally shot this place a bit at the top and not to mention Hojo's stupid scheming that nearly vanquished this whole city.
Reno was one of the Turks but Vincent was one way before Reno's time. Therefore, he didn't know that Vincent once was a Turk. The red head looked all around at the HQ's innards. Corridors empty but for a good few of people which were stone. They'd most likely have to go up one level or more. Meaning, they would have to face the dreaded stairway. Reno stood silently by as he waited for the others to get used to their current surroundings before deciding to go up or not.
He wasn't going to rush them. Reno watched as Vincent headed up the dreaded stairs. Shrugging, Reno decided this was a way of Vincent's to get a move on. The red head followed the caped man up the stairs.

"Ah I see" said Kail " So do you guys have a database or some thing like it" he asked " Maybe there we can get some info on these Crystals or a lead to it". As he followed the others up the stairs.

Squall could already feel the "love" between him and Reno. He could tell it would be a while before they could exchange 2 words without 3 insults. Not that he cared in the first place, he had dealt with worse. He then looked at Kail who had just responded.
"...Just being realistic, I mean, we literally have no leads, if there's no one there, we'll be running in a wild goose chase." Squall said with a sigh. Squall's doubt seemed to get bigger as he saw how much in bad shape the building was. The 4 individuals went up the stairs expecting to see something good. Each one of them had their own reasons to finding the crystals.

That's when the chaos started. Well, for Reno that is. He made to look back as he paused to answer Kail's question and realized the step he was standing on was creaking rather loudly. Before the red head could react, the step had broken and he was sent falling to the set of stairs just below the others. Reno grimaced as he felt a sharp jolt of pain on his backside.
He shook his head as he looked up to where he previously had been. Just his luck! Reno muttered a few curses at the step for having given way before looking about for his metallic rod which he had dropped in the process. He looked towards his far right and swiftly grabbed his rod before it tried slipping off that stairway's edge.
Reno sighed before looking about and then getting back to his feet. Brushing himself off as he looked up at the hole he made. Knowing that his fall may get a few laughs or a worried expression. "Damn!" he muttered to himself.

Squall's concentration suddenly broke when he saw Reno suddenly drop from the stairs. Squall simply put his hand on his face and shook his head.
"...." Silence spoke louder than words. But then Squall replied ".....Are you Ok down there...?" Squall said, it was courtesy, plus, he didnt find it that funny. Although, he did look a bit silly, plus Reno's reaction to all that was priceless. Throughtout the rest of the walk, Squall kept a look out for anything, he didnt want to fall to the floor below him.

Vincent had already reached the top of the stairs, just in time to see Reno fall. Of course, he didn't react at first, as his only facial change was only an upraising of the brow. He made his way back down the stairs to peer at Reno the floor below them.

Reno felt rather embarassed. Of all things to happen to him it had to be right in front of the others. Aw, well! Couldn't be helped now could it? Reno put a hand behind his head when he looked back up at the others. More so Vincent because he was the only one peering down at him. "Heheh! Yeah, I'm alright!" he replied feeling sort of stupid at the moment. Giving a thumb up to those that were looking down at him with a sheepish grin on his face.
He then regained his self composure and proceeded up the stairway he landed, back up to the stairs the others were on. The were already at the top when he reached them. Acting as though nothing hapened, Reno followed the rest now. He then remembered the question Kail had asked him before he took that embarassing fall back there.
"Oh, um...Kail I'm not sure if the database even HAS informaion about the crystals...It's worth a try though..." he trailed off before walking ahead again down a large corridor. Searching for any of the nearest computer rooms that'd help or any other survivors though he doubted it. Reno paused to look at one stoned person before shaking his head and proceeding. 'Where the heck did they put the computers, already?!' he thought. Momentarily disoriented due to that fall he had. Hopefully, he won't be nagged at by Squall. Reno could already tell they weren't going to be the best of buddies. However, first impressions aren't everything and who knew?! Maybe they'd all get along MUCH better than they had but then again, who knew?!

Squall kept on walking forward and up the stairs while still keeping a sharp look out for monsters and whatnot. They finally arrived at the top, the sight was indeed a horrid one. People with painful expressions on their faces while turned into stone. The group kept walking around checking if anyone had resited the attack. Squall kept on looking for the computers and hoping at least one had information of hte crystals.
Squall separated from the group shortly to look around. He came into a massive room, and a gigantic screen took up half of the wall. He then alerted the others "Um...is this what we're looking for?" Squall asked.

Reno paused again when he came across a few familiar looking petrified people. The last remaining Turk looked upon this sad sight seeing his buddies stoned like that. 'I'm on it guys! Hold on!' he thought before turning back to where the others had disappeared. He had tilted his head before entering the room where Kail and Squall had gone into. Catching what they were saying.
Reno casually walked in then looked at the two's backs to him. He then looked up at the large computer monitor and then gave a half smile. He hadn't made his presence known in the room just yet as he silently looked about for the monitor's remote to turn it on. A computer that large needed one aside from having no power button on it in plain view. He found it not to far from a nearby seat. Sitting down, Reno picked it up and pointed the remote at the screen. Still quiet as can be. He pressed the power button on and the whole room became illuminated in bright light as the computer started up.
Reno sat back in his chair and placed his feet upon the table before him. Quite laidback. Uncaring what comments he'd get from Squall. That guy tended to have a comment for everything! The remote could control which screens to click on and such. Having a circular stick upon it that moved the cursor when someone's finger touched it and made it go a certain direction. Obviously, Reno felt like he was at home right now.

" Well then" said Kail " Where would this crystal be I wonder, maybe check ruins or anything like it". He said " we can start there". He sees another place to use a computer and starts serching from there.

Squall started looking around for a way to turn on the power on the computer. Suddenly, this huge light covered the entire room. This starteled Squall a bit, since Reno was opperating in the dark. Squall sightly drew his gunblade, only to see Reno sit down without a care in the world.
"Oh...its you..." Squall said, believe it or not, he was a bit relieved to see Reno. Well, he'd take an annoying guy over a monster any day. Squall started looking at another panel from which he could acess the files. "Did you guys find anything yet?" Squall asked the group.

Reno smirked a bit when he saw Squall's reaction. The look on his face was a Kodak moment. The guy actually thought he was under attack. Reno raised an eyebrow when Squall noticed it was only Reno. Squall's voice sounded like relief but it wasn't very noticeable. The red head didn't say anything not wanting to get all in a fluster. He just refrained from chuckling before resuming to move the cursor about on the screen to go into the data files.
Reno must've gone through nearly a third of the files on this computer when Squall asked if they found anything. "Nope, not yet!" he merely replied as he resumed searching through the many documents and other files. 'Jeez! Talk about overdoing it!' he thought. Those scientists were extremely busy, alright! The red head sighed to himself as he continued to search these neverending files.
He frowned at the extent of the data the scientists collected over time. One'd think they'd lessen their files a bit by putting them onto disk rather than the whole super computer here! "Jeez!" he muttered to himself in frustration with the large amount of data. Hopefully, someone'd find something because Reno was sure that as far as he was going there wasn't anything just yet. 'This could take awhile!' he thought exasperatedly.

Reno had ben getting fed up with pressing the buttons continuosly on the remote and was about to toss it across the room in frustration until Kail brought him back to what was going on around him. The red head had been so intent on trying to locate information that he almost forgot the others were there. He turned to peer over at the teenager with a questioning look.
Raising an eyebrow, he replied "Um...no....I haven't." He laidback in the chair to lift his legs up off the table before turning about and letting them make contact with the floor. Reno stood straight up and approached the computer Kail was at. A confused look on his face as he peered at the computer monitor. Just how did that get thtere? Reno didn't remember anything about this project nor did he know it existed.
Maybe someone had been up to something during his absence. Reno frowned as he read it o himself. If anything, he'd be one of the people to know in case the project went completely wrong. The Turks usually served as Rufus Shinra's bodyguards aside from doing his bidding. Reno glanced over to where Squall was before calling out "Did ya find anything there?...Oh, and you may want to have a look at this as well."

Squall looked through file after file. Yet nothing, not single lead to the so called crystals. Squall had just about given up after double checking the panel with the files. Just then, He heard Reno call out to him. Squall then replied "No....let's see...." he hurried over to where Kail and Reno where and began looking at "The Crystal Rebirth Project". Squall the scrolled over to what it said.
The Crystal Rebirth project
After the fall of Shinra coorportaion, A couple of surviving Shinra executives lead by a mysterious man that didnt make himself know began researching "The Crystals". The Crystals are the source of all power. Take the crystal away, and the world slowly decays. Such is the power The Shinra coorportion wants, under our new leader, we will succeed. We've searched for a while, however to no avail, there's only one place we havent looked, it is on a far nation. A giant moving building called Balamb Garden is said to house such a crystal. We will depart soon.
Squall looked in horror to what he had just read. "What...what the hell is this!?" Squall said to himself. Now his former home was involve? Just what is going on? And who was the Shinra's coorporation's new leader?

Reno was just as confused as Squall was. However, Reno's confusion was mainly on the Shinra corporation getting a new leader. Just who was this guy? Could it really be the guy that had kicked their butts back in that strange world a time ago? He looked up to Squall upon hearing his exclamaition. Obviously, he was freaked. The reason would be that his home pertained to Balamb Garden after all.
"Well....obviously, we've got ourselves a problem because they've a head start....unlesss...." his blue eyes widened as he smiled upon a realization. Yes, that could help them a great deal! Besdies, no one else knew where it was located but a handful. The only one that knew that wasn't stoned like the others was this specific red head.
"Hey! I've got an idea to speed our trip to this Balamb Garden a great deal!" he exclaimed with a sly smirk. How he loved piloting the thing when he could.

Vincent had been in the back of the room the whole time, arms folded and leaning against the wall, shrouded in darkness. He was waiting as the others browsed through dozens of files. He never thought of himself as a computer person so he had politely stayed out of it. Until Reno perked up when he thought he found something.
Vincent pushed off the wall with his feet and slowly made his way over to the small group to see what they were looking at. His presence probably would have surprised the others since he had not even made his appearance known in the room yet. He bent over slightly and began to read the description of the Crystal Rebirth Project.
Afterwards, he stood straight again, rasing a brow as he looked at each of the others with his crimson gaze. He still remained silent.

Squall kept on reading, in disbelief to what he had just heard. Just how was his home involved? He didnt know, but he was determined to find out. He sighed as he calmed down and went back to his normal self. He then raised an eyebrow when he heard Reno's suggestion. "Really...and just what are you planning?" Squall said. He then looked at Kail, and Vincent who had appeared out of nowhere.
"Well...Time's a wastin', I know where this place is...its my home." Squall said before exiting the room.

Reno smriekd before replying "I've got something that'll get us there a lot faster than walking can!" With that, he nearly bumped into Vincent whom just appeared nearly giving the young Turk a heart attack in the process. "Oops! Sorry, Vincent!" he apologized before following Squall out the room. The red head caught up with Squall.
"Alright! Finally, you're seeing my point I made a while back!" chuckled Reno before heading for the area he knew where the helicopter would be. A definite transportation they could use. It was always ready since they had taken good care of the helicopter, the Turks. It always had a full tank of fuel within and had a daily check up to make sure it was working properly. Not once had it failed them.
Also, with Reno piloting it was smooth sailing for those riding it. The red head managed to glance back where the others were before saying "Follow me!" He was now at the end of the hallway heading for the last stairway that'd lead down to the area where the helipad would be. The helicopter secretly hidden underneath.

Vicnent ignored the slight contact he made with Reno and sighed. He peered at the others for a moment as if he was about to say something, but then turned around and exited the room after Reno, ragged cloak flowing behind him while his gold-tinted boot clicked on the marble floor.

Squall wondered what was going on in the world. Nevertheless, the 4 men wanted to find out.
"...."
Squall remained quiet as he followed Reno to an underground hangar. He started to trust the guy, even it was just a little. Squall then added on to what Kail asked "Yeah...what are you taking us in?". He then came into a dark room, the lights slowly turned on revealing a giant air craft. It was a helicopter. Full tank and everything.
"...I'll say you've outdone yourself this time..." Squall said.
