A red headed man walked down the streets of Port Royal. Light blue eyes taking in his surroundings as he went. How extremely low class this world was. Well, to him anyways. The technology here was far below Shinra's that was for sure. It was as if this place were hundreds of years behind. His metallic rod was slung over his right shoulder as always. Not activated unless he needed it.
The people here were strange too. Men here seemed to either wear white wigs of some sort or run around with mullets or very long hair. Well, Reno wasn't exactly normal either. His red hair made him stand out only a lot! AND he had it tied back in a male ponytail. His hair at the top was spiked. His forehead was decorated with the usual sunglasses. Also, it seemed he wasn't too different here. People were wearing tattoos as well. These men by the docks that he just came across.
However, their clothing were so different in comparison, that Reno couldn't help but wonder just what this Kingdom Key world consisted of. It seemed it was made up of more than just one single world. He paused as the men eyed him strangely. To Reno, it felt like they were sizing him up. Suddenly, without warning, a blast ensued. He blinked as a cannon ball missed his head by a few inches. "HELLO!" he exclaimed with wide eyes before dodging another directed for his head. Narrowly being missed again.

Nico had been walking out and about the docks of the strange world. she looked at a cannon ball that missed Reno and flew and hit her and she then said "holy shit." she then fell on Reno's back and she then said to him "sorry, I didnt mean-" she then looked at him and she then said "crap." she knew he wouldent be happy with her.

Reno hadn't known that Nico was here as well. In fact, he thought he had been the only Turks member to be here at the current moment. He was a bit surprised to be nailed on the back by a random weight. It didn't feel like a cannon ball but something warm. Confused, he turned his head to look and discovered Nico had landed on his back due to the cannon balls being fired all over the place. It took him a few seconds for it to register that it was just Nico.
Reno merely grunted because of the pain he had received from being landed on. Not answering her apology at the moment, Reno quickly lifted himself up and in doing so had lifted her back up as well. It was strange at how strong he was despite his physique's appearance. Getting back to his feet whilst having helped Nico due to the fact if they both didn't move they'd end up dead, he ended up diving away again as a cannon ball came right for them again. "LOOK OUT!" he exclaimed quickly. Landing on the sand.
"Damn!" he grunted as he rolled onto his back and forced himself back on his feet. "You take the left, I'll take the right! These bastards want to start something, we'll finish it!" he instructed quickly before darting towards the right side. Dodging gunshots as best he could as gunfire now issued out at them both as well as the cannon balls.

Nico stood up and she ran. another cannon ball came at her and she then dove onto the ground. she looked up and she then heard a gun shot and a bullet hit her in the arm. it was strange because they didnt hurt as bad as the other ones. she looked at her bleeding arm and she then looked around. she then continued running wondering why she was in the first place.

Reno had surprisingly managed to reach the boat unscathed but for the bruises from being landed on. Maybe it was the great footwork? He really hadn't the time to ponder this as he literally climbed swiftly up the boat like he had done to that building back in Edge during the whole Kadaj incident. Flipping a kick upwards as he shot high into the air. Clobbering a pirate square in the kisser and sending him flying into his comrade behind him.
Landing on one knee as he held his metallic rod at the ready. Icy blue eyes having gone utterly focused and deadly looking. Reno could be a goofball at times but when he got serious, look out! He wasn't sure if Nico had made it alright but he had to destroy those cannons and somehow distract those annoying gun shooters. Activating the materia in his rod with the simple push of a button, Reno's weapon became electrified.
Running at them, he brought the rod up to one's face and gave him a nasty electrocution. "Wanna play rough do ya?! Well, then....Bring it!" he snarled.

Nico jumped on the boat and she then looked around for Reno and couldent see him. her vision grew limited now. she held her arm and she then took out her gun and shot some of the pirates. she then turned to Reno and asked him "you alright?" she then jumped down and fired more shots.

A different sort of gunfire caught his attention and he just glimpsed Nico firing at the enemies. How foolish for these pirates to think they could take on the Turks! He savagely kicked another pirate right in the throat and broke it. A nasty grin creased his face after having done so. Reno could be a very dirty fighter when he wanted to be.
A pirate had almost gotten him in the head with a mace if Nico's shooting hadn't brought the guy down. "Thanks!" he called out before breaking another pirate's spine with an elbow to the spinal cord. Was it him or did he see blood on Nico? Hopefully, she hadn't been shot too badly. He back flipped out of the way just as a pirate swung at him with his crossbow. Baring his teeth, Reno cast a Thunder spell and zapped a good few of the nearby pirates. Eliminating a good few from the numbers they were fighting.
After punching one's nose, Reno smirked evilly. "Thought you guys were tough didn't ya? Too bad you guys are pretty pathetic fighters to be easily kicked in the asses by just the two of us!" he taunted.

Nico blinked a few times as she regained a bit more sight. she then shot some more and she then turned to Reno and she shot another pirate behind him and she then smiled. her arm hurt more now and she then continued to shoot pirates and she then threw a bomb and most of them died. she then became a bit dizzy and she waited for more to attack.

The number of pirates were going down at a rapid pace. 'Stupid morons!' he thought as he sent another one overboard into the icy sea water just over the side of the boat. This was a real brawl, alright! Too bad Rude wasn't here to witness it! He jumped when a gunshot went past him to the pirate behind him.
Nico had shot a pirate that almost got him. Smirking, he gave her a thumbs up with one hand before bopping a pirate upside the head with the same hand that went into a fist immediately. "Try to kill us, will ya?!" he said menacingly. Taking out another good few. The pirates numbers having gone from many to a mere few.

Nico then said to Reno "want the last few?" she then put her hand on her arm. she was still loosing blood rapidly but she was still able to squeeze out a smile.

Reno glanced back towards Nico when she spoke. A mischievous smirk went across his face as he replied "Heheh! Sure! Why not?!" Chuckling, he leapt high into the air and slammed down with a good high jump kick to the face crushing the pirate's skull with a sickening crunch.
Then, he flared up his metal rod and shot forth his secret weapon. The Turks Light! A fireball went at the enemies and blasted them off the boat and into the sea. Those that were up front got the full blast and had been instantly incinerated before hitting the ocean waters below. "Too easy!" he said with a grin before pressing the button on his rod to disactivate the materia within it. Slinging it over his shoulder again as he turned towards Nico.
He saw that she was holding her arm. "Yo! You alright, Nico?" he asked her. Quirking an eyebrow as he waited for a response. Of course, the girl may deny the fact she was injured.

Reno had begun to examine the ship. Curious of the lack of technology here. How primitive it seemed in comparison to what he was used to. Looking back towards Nico after a moment, he replied "Well....I wouldn't say much....this thing's just like a dinosaur in my eyes! Look at how slow this thing would be compared to the usual ships we ride on back in Junon to Costa Del Sol!"
He sighed, it was his mission to explore the worlds thoroughly for any important information. It was always a good thing, Tseng had said, to have been in the field before. Exploring each world would gain experience for when it was needed. "Well....we could drive this thing but then it may take a while getting from one place to the next...." he stated. Looking towards the steering wheel.

A smirk grew on Nico's face. "or we can blow it up." she said as she then looked at her arm and she then said "i should prolly start taking care of this huh?" she then smiled as he seemed to be walking around. she then asked him curiously "whats wrong? you seem tense."

Reno raised an eyebrow hearing Nico's suggestion. It was tempting but this seemed to be the only source for transportation here. He hadn't seen anything faster than this compared to foot. Of course, their were carriages but they wouldn't get them far. This ship could take them from island to island.
He had absentmindedly nodded to what Nico mentioned about her arm. Not really having heard her because he had been in thought. Yes, he could maybe steer this baby but where the hell would they go? A voice brought him out of his thoughts and he turned his head in Nico's direction again. Asking what he was so tense about. Furrowing an eyebrow, he retorted "Me?! Tense?! No way!" He shook his head then smirked a half smirk. Approaching the steering wheel with that look he had on his face when he piloted the helicopter.
'This is going to be fun!' he thought as he grabbed a hold of the steering wheel and gave it a twirl. The ship slowly turned in response to it and skimmed the wooden dock a little.

Nico sighed. she then took out a match and a knife and she then lite the match. putting the tip of the knife in it she then waved the match out and she put the knife in the wound. she then dug out the bullet and she then said "hey lookee this." she then tossed the little round led ball to reno and she then shook off the pain. she looked in the distance and saw another ship but it looked old and like it was at the bottom of the sea. she then pointed and said to Reno "look at that one."

Sadly, having tossed that led ball was a bad mistake on Nico's part. She had hit Reno in the head with it! For that, it sent them off the course he had intended to follow and the ship had spun about without Reno meaning for it to have done so. Rubbing his head, he gave Nico a bit of a disgruntled look before bending down to pick up the led bullet.
He looked at it curiously. Yes, these bullets were ancient looking. These people had to be far behind on the times to Gaia's. It was then that Nico mentioned something about a ship and he looked over. Both eyes widened as his jaw dropped. "OH SH-!" he never finished his sentence as their ship crashed into the shipwrecked one. Reno had been sent flying into the steering wheel which he hit then ended up jolting back and landing flat on his back with a loud THUD!
Gingerly getting back to his feet, he winced.

Nico hadent been able to do anything or say anything to Reno before they hit the other ship. she fell backwards and she then said to herself "god, where is the pixie dust when you need it." she then got up slowly and she then turned to Reno and she then said "nice going." she looked at the other ship. the pirates on there looked like they were dead. they were full of things from the sea and Nico jumped. she then walked up by Reno and she then said "get a load of them."

Reno just gave Nico a flat look. "Alright! I know! I messed up steering....I wouldn't have though if you hadn't shown me the led bullet, though!" he added. Rubbing the spot where it had conked him on the head moments before the crash. He glanced over at the dead pirates. Unafraid since they were already dead.
Surveying the scenery, he said "Wonder what took them out...." Things couldn't happen at a much worser time. Something surged from the waters and what appeared just above the surface was enough to make someone die of fright. A large octopus was looking directly at them.
"Is it me.....or do we not ever get a damn break around here?" he said as he readied for yet another battle.

"who said i was blaming you?" Nico asked Reno. she then said to him "yeah sorry about the bullet. my fault." she then threw a bomb on the octopus and watched it explode 3 temticles. the octopus went under water and Nico stood there. she then asked Reno "is that over?"

Reno watched as Nico tossed a bomb at the octopus and explode three tentacles off of it. Walking cautiously over towards the edge, Reno peered over the railing of the ship. Careful to jump back at any second in case it popped out. "It definitely looks like it!" he replied.
Unaware that it was emerging from behind them on the other side of the ship. Tentacles slowly crept out for them as their backs were turned.

Nico stood by Reno and she looked up at some pirates who seemed to be laughing. she then turned to Reno and gave him a sarcastic smile. "its behind us isnt it." she then turned her head and said "yeah see what did i tell ya. behind us." she then shot the beast and ran away as fast as she could. she then threw another bomb at it and said to Reno "any ideas?"

Reno furrowed his eyebrows at the laughing pirates. 'What the hell's so funny?' he wondered. It was then that Nico mentioned the giant octopus being right behind them. Reacting quickly, Reno dodged a tentacle that tried to swipe him up. He smacked another away from him as he dashed off. Nico firing at it then tossing yet another bomb.
The bomb hadn't worked! "Damn!" he muttered before pressing the button on his metal rod to activate the materia within it. The materia that allowed his weapon to cast Thunder spells. He shrugged in response to Nico's question. "I can try this!" he called out as he aimed his rod at the oversized seafood and shot a bolt of lightning at it. Making the thing scream. It actually screamed!
What a nearly deafening sound! It hurt Reno's ears.

Nico covered her ears. she then gave Reno like a victory look and she then said to him "you just had to do that." she then kept her hands over her ears and felt something hit her side and she then was hit by another bullet and she sorta fell over. she then staggered to get up and she then threw over another bomb and said "see ya in hell.'

Reno smirked slightly seeing that it hurt the thing. That should teach it! It was then that he glanced over to Nico when she spoke. Having barely caught a word of what she said because of his ears ringing from that scream the beast had made. All he did in response was give a brief shrug. "Yeah, you could say that!" he said arrogantly with a smile on his face. The gloat!
It was then that something else caught his attention....some morons were shooting at them again! Nico had already tossed a bomb but where to, Reno hadn't a clue. All he did was send out bolts of lightning this way and that at the enemies. (Where did you toss the bomb? XD!)

Reno gritted his teeth bitterly. They just couldn't get a friggin break here no matter what they did! Looking back over to Nico after she had made the pirates fall into the water, he said "Say! Nice aim paused as he saw that she was holding her side. Did she get shot again?
The Octopus was still alive and still attacking! It swung an arm at Reno whom just dropped to the wooden deck. The arm missing his nose by an inch. Glaring at it, Reno flared up another attack. The Turks' Light. A large fireball mixed with electrical energy charged up and fired at the octopus and burnt it a good deal. Making the thing roar in agony again.
He glimpsed Nico, and asked "You going to hold in there?"

Nico stood up. she then watched Reno attack the Octopus thing and she nodded. she then took out a nice looking bomb able to destroy cities if she wanted it to. she then threw it at the octopus and detinated it. she then looked at Reno and said "i hope thats that."

Reno had shielded his eyes from the explosion that erupted when Nico tossed her bomb. After a few seconds, he lowered it to see the damage that had been done. There was nothing left of the beast. Whatever was left was either splattered all over the ship and them, or sinking into the ocean depths below.
"Well...that definitely resolved our attacking seafood problem!" he said with a bit of a laugh. One problem, how were they going to get out of here now? From what Reno remembered, they had crashed into the other ship. Since that ship was blocking the one they were on, they really were technically stuck here. Unless...they had to swim for it. Maybe there was something on the other side of that ship they crashed into?
Looking over at Nico, he said "Hold on a sec while I go check the area out..." Getting off their current ship and onto the wrecked one, Reno began the investigation. Hopefully, on the other side of this ship there was maybe land. From their viewpoint back there it was nearly impossible to tell.

Nico stayed on the other ship. she had been waiting there for about three minutes when she decided to follow him. she then jumped on the other ship and looked around. everything seemed quiet. too quiet. Nico sighed. she then jumped up on the stairs and walked around. she then looked at the steering and she smiled.
