Reno knew of the eminent silence. That could mean a couple of things. One, they were being watched and were about to be jumped or two, they were in a completely desolate area. He was currently on the other side of the boat they had crashed into. On a large piece of land.
"Hmmm....wonder what we have here?" he said to himself as he caught a glimpse of what appeared to be a large dark cavern leading inwards. Maybe there was something on the other side? Maybe a village or something? Reno made to double back but found strange looking creatures staring right at him. They had big yellow eyes and looked like blackish ants that had only four limbs.

Nico had been walking along the steering when something scared her. it was a loud crash. she then ran down and then there was complete silence. she then saw the door labels captains quarters and she walked in. Nico gazed as it was dark. she then heard a little catchy toon and she then lit a candle. there sat the captian asleep on the organ. he had tenticles on his face and Nico gave a slight ew in disgust and a grunt of pain from her wound. she then walked out and ran to the same side of the boat Reno was on. she hadent noticed since she bumped into some one because of a loud noise. "sorry." she said stitting on the ground as it seems that the bump was more to knock her over.

Reno furrowed his eyebrows at the curious little beasts. Just what the hell were they? Oversized bugs? They blinked at him as they glanced all around in a frenzied manner. It was eerie in a strange way. For some reason, he wasn't liking the feeling he was getting from these things. He heard Nico's voice saying something that sounded like an apology. He couldn't look over at the moment because just as he made to, one of the things jumped at him.
Rolling out of the way, Reno got his metal rod at the ready once more. "What the hell?" he said to himself. No matter, he wasn't going to let them attack him. Kicking with all of his might, Reno sent one further skyward when it jumped for him. Sending it right into the sea on the other side of the two ships.

Nico's eyes widened as she looked at the bugs. "Reno, what (studder lol) are those?" she then gave him a weird look and she then threw a small bomb at them and watched some explode. EWWWWWWWWW she thought watching the guts fly everywhere.

Nico really shouldn't have tossed the bomb! Reno, being in their midst, just noticed something drop right close by where he was. Raising an eyebrow and catching a glance, he spotted something round that looked just like a bomb. Not really registering the fact that it was a bomb, Reno kicked another one of those creatures before his blue eyes widened.
"HOLY-!" he shouted before running and then leaping away just in time. The bomb exploding seconds after he dived away. Barely having gotten him. Rolling onto his back, he looked over to find Nico. 'That crazy little-!' he hadn't the time to finish his thoughts since a creature scratched down at him.

Nico shot the creater that scratched Reno. "damn it. i thought you were next to me." she then attacked some more of the creatures and she then shot a few more.

Reno blinked at her. "Me?! I'm not next to you!" he responded. Pointing to the huge thing next to her. "He is!" he stated. It was a large silvery odd looking thing. It seemed like these black creatures but different in a way. It looked like it had some playing cards in what it had for hands.
His arm, having been sliced a bit, thankfully was still usable. Getting to his feet, Reno jumped back into the fray. One of Nico's bullets just missing his head by an inch as it whizzed past the top of his red hair. "WHOA! Watch where you're aiming!" he said. Having had a close call right there.

Nico shot the figure next to her and she then said "i was shooting the stupid thing next to ya." She then ran over by him and she stood there shooting some more of the creatures.

Reno merely gritted his teeth. Whenever will this world give them a break? He wondered how the hell they were going to get out of this world too. The ships were both damaged beyond use. One wouldn't have happened if Reno hadn't been distracted by a led bullet. (XD!)
They were in a battle once more. Reno bopping the creatures over the heads or snapping their necks. Strange thing was, when they died they simply became puffs of smoke with no insides or anything being left behind. "What ARE these things?!"

Reno would've had a very good come back for that but he was too busy trying to stay standing. It had taken them nearly five minutes before the things were fully disposed of. The even stranger part of these creatures was when they were vanquished. Of course, they simply became puffs of smoke but something else came out of them.
Something reddish and glowing. Reno had only just caught a last minute glimpse of one of these things that was released from the ant like beasts. They appeared to be hearts! "What the?!" he exclaimed upon seeing this sight.

"holy-" Nico exclaimed as she stood by Reno. she then looked at the hearts and she then asked Reno "whats going on."

Pointing at where the things had been and towards what was left of the hearts floating away, he said "They seem to be coming from those things!" Obviously just as surprised as she was with this. Reno stared at where their enemies had been and watched the last of the hearts float away before disappearing. "I don't have a clue what those things were nor what they do....but those definitely looked like hearts!" he replied.
Completely taken aback by that.

Reno scrucnhed his nose up a bit after that sight. "Those things were wierd! I mean, they dispersed into thin air like puffs of black smoke releasing hearts!" he exclaimed. That was definitely going to take a good amount of paperwork to explain this situation to Rufus Shinra.
Looking over at Nico, he asked her "Think the president will believe us?"
