Garnet grew up as the princess of the great kingdom of Alexandria, where she lived with her benevolent (and morbidly obese) mother, Queen Brahne. She was protected by her mothers head knight, and over watcher, Steiner. She soon realized her mother was changing, and suspected that her mothers friend and often guest, Kuja, was making her more mean and evil. She soon wanted to leave, not only to escape her mother, who was becoming more and more Evil, but to see the outside world, which she had never really seen, as both her mother and Steiner prevented her from doing so.
So she hatched a escape plan, packing a few things, grabbing her rod, which she used for Summoning and white magic, and donned a large coat/hood. On the night of her escape, she slipped away from Steiner in the darkness of a Opera she was at, and began to run down the hall, only to be seen and chased by a boy meant to kidnap her, Zidane. The chase ended on the ship Zidane lived in, and she told him he wanted to leave, so he, her, and his crew of thieves escaped on the airship, but it was damaged by Queen Brahne, and it crashed in the forest. So Garnet left with Zidane, Vivi, and Steiner (who had somehow got on the airship) they eventually got to another small town and found out that her mother was mass producing Black Mages, and sent some to attack her and her friends on teh way to her uncles kingdom. Eventually she made it, and went on a journey to stop her mother, and got many new friends. Her mother was eventually killed by Kuja, and she and her friends went on an adventure to stop him..... ending in Kuja's death. She became the Queen of Alexandria.
Personality: Rather Sarcastic and playful, but very nice and caring. Cares alot about her country, but would prefer that she wasnt queen, all she wants to do is go adventuring again, and once again see the world. But she knows she cant leave her country.
Weapon: Rods and Racquets.

Garnet sighed, she had always spouted the saying: "Someday I will be queen, but I will always be myself," but lately that seemed to be harder and harder to do. She always seemed to be having to be strong, and not change to bulling kingdoms. She sighed again, not only was she the QUEEN of the strongest country in the world, she was also a very good healer, summoner, and one of the biggest legendary heroes ever. Although days like today she did escape, seeing as how she was in one of the highest towers with the door baracaded against a few advisors, who were angerly pounding on the door. She soon grew tired of this and stepped onto the large window seal and got ready to jump. She took a breath and WHOOSH off she went. Suicide? Garnet? Never. Bahumaut streamed out of..... wherever the summons were when not invoked. The dragon shot below her, and caught the young queen in all of her billowing glory, the white beautiful dress soon discarded, or rather dropped, to a servant far below in a courtyard. She had instructed the rather flustered girl to stand there. Garnet had her yellow velvet suit on once again, and soon flew to the horizon. It was her time for a break.
