Now that you have read the basics of the battle system, let's move on to something that adds on to it. The Weaknesses and Strengths.
Each Persona has an array of weaknesses and strengths that come with it. For example, a Persona like Orpheus may be weak to a certain element, let's say this element is Lighting.
When you get struck by a spell (or attack if your persona is weak to Physicals), you will take DOUBLE damage. The SAME goes for your enemy, so try to exploit it. By double the damage, it means your total damage will be multiplied by 2.

It is the opposite for strengths. If your Persona is strong against an element (or physical) your damage will be halved. Please be careful of the attacks you use.
If your Persona says that it repels something, the damage of said attack will go back to the monster and harm them instead. Shadows also have strengths and weaknesses, so look out for them.
