Step 2: character info
Name: Vincent Valentine
Gender: Male
Age: 57 years old (physically 27 years old)
Race: Human / Demon
Appearance:
Vincent appears as a tall, brooding man with long, unkempt black hair wearing a ragged red cloak over black clothes. His left arm below the elbow is covered by a metal gauntlet terminating in formidable claws. His cloak covers the lower half of his face and is held closed by a series of buckles. His eyes are distinctly colored red. His weapon of choice is a triple-barrel revolver named "Cerberus", reflected in the silver charm that hangs from the hilt of the gun as well as the gun's three barrels also the three dogs heads on the side of each barrel.
History:
Vincent was once a member of the Turks, organization that does covert operations on behalf of the company, including espionage, kidnappings and assassinations, for 30 years. He was assigned to supervise the Jenova Project in Nibelheim, where he fell in love with a scientist named Lucrecia Crescent.
At first unknown to Vincent, Lucrecia once was an assistant to his father Grimoire Valentine on the discovery of Chaos and Omega but he died saving her life when the tests of the experiment went wrong. Vincent later discovered her link with his father’s death and asked Lucrecia why she never told him. She fled from Vincent but he wanted to find her so he could tell her his true feelings for her. When he spoke to Lucrecia later, she didn’t want to be with him as she felt too guilty about his father’s death and she told him it was all her fault.
She fled again ultimately entering a relationship with her associate Hojo instead. Lucrecia became pregnant afterwards, and her unborn child was to be part of the next Jenova experiment of Hojo’s which was an investigation into the effect of Jenova cells on an unborn child.
After a while Lucrecia became very sick and started to get visions of what would become of her unborn son in the future. Outraged, Vincent confronted Hojo in the Shinra Mansion's underground laboratory. Hojo being angered with Vincent’s approach pulled out a gun from his lab coat and shot Vincent in the stomach. He proceeded to use his dead body as the subject for experiments.
Lucrecia tried to find a way to save him. Lucrecia injected him with stagnant lifestream which revived Vincent and turned him into the beast Chaos. However, due to Chaos becoming violent and nearly attacking her, Lucrecia put the materia called "Protomateria" inside him to keep Chaos and its feral nature under control.
Vincent awoke on the operating table – Hojo and Lucrecia nowhere to be seen - and responded to his modified body with both anguish and rage. He believed that this was his punishment for his “Sin” at not being able to save Lucrecia.
After the end of Season 1 he returned to his home city of Midgar and now earns a living by hunting bounties, whichever side they may be on.

Alex followed Kaleb through the halls of what seemed to be - a castle. She was utterly amazed at it. There was very little light in the hallways, only supported by dull flickering lanterns. It reminded her of the games her younger brother used to play.
They reached a great wooden door, and Kaleb opened it slowly and gestured for her to go in. She hesitated a moment, frowning. She didn’t like entering a room first, things are likely to go a lot worse when you did. But all he did was smile back and kept his gaze steady upon her. Still frowning, she inched through the door.
She was surprised at what she found.
It was another huge room decorated with blank black banners and torches just like the hallways. Two long tables stretched from one end of the room to the other; a tablecloth adorned each one. There were other… people here. She wasn’t sure if they were normal or a beast like Kaleb and she wasn’t eager to find out. Though Kaleb pushed her forward, she saw what the “people” were doing at these tables. They were eating. And Alex made a sigh of relief, for they certainly must be normal if they were eating regular food.
Even if they were normal, they sure didn’t act like it. Each one was sitting with their back erect, head forward, and knees buckled—they were all in the same position. All of them had on worn clothes, mostly brown or black shirts with faded or ripped blue jeans and no shoes. All they had on their plates was a piece of bread and an apple. No one spoke.
Alex did nothing but stare at the poor beings, while Kaleb walked away from her, and bent to talk to one of the people in the ear. And after the chat, the person – a boy – stood up and followed him. He was handsome… for his tattered state. There were scars on his cheeks and arms but he walked with a limp and he didn’t seem to be moving his right arm at all.
Kaleb moved his head to indicate that she follow him as well. She spent a moment pondering what to do. Should she ask for help? Run while she still had a chance?
She decided against both of these –she didn’t want to get killed. So, she reluctantly followed him again across the chamber and through another door –the boy right beside her.
The boy was very plain. He didn’t look at her at any one time through the trek, and just kept his eyes forward, as if in a trance. This was odd to her. Was there something wrong with him?
They reached yet another door –a steel one this time. Kaleb took out a key and unlocked it, afterwards inserting the key into his pocket. Alex registered this to her mind, just in case she needed that key to get out.
The room they entered was extravagant – completely different from the rest of the castle. It was carpeted, and the wool made her feet comfortable after walking on the cold stone floor. There was a huge king-size bed in the corner, with a black and red coloring on the sheets, with a canvas over the top. A neat burgundy bureau to her right, and a dresser with a mirror on her left. The walls were bare –no windows here either. The only light was coming from a small lantern on top of the bureau. Though through the minimal light, she found that she could see perfectly.
Kaleb closed the door behind them and locked it –she was trapped, again. The boy stood where he was, and Alex was uncertain of what she had to do.
Kaleb walked across the room and sat on a chair that was pushed up against dresser, and made himself comfortable by leaning back, stretching his arms out and crossing one leg over the other.
“First things first,” he said, “You,” he pointed at me, “kill him.” He pointed at the boy in the corner.
