After the Final Battle with Zack
“Hehehe! ...So....Zack and the others accomplished their roles...Now Phase 2 can begin! Ah that was fun.” A figure said in the darkness of The End of Time. He chuckled lightly in a gleeful tone, his work already completed for him. No one knew he was. Or what he was.
He is known only as ‘Lucien’
Greed. Power. War.
It’s been five years since the incident where all the realms were made into two small planets. To the heroes who have witnessed and saved the realms, it has come to be known as “The Crystal Incident”. One by one, each realm came to know the others’ existence. Soon enough, war ensued. A war for land. At first, it was just that. Many factions and organizations rose up to defeat one another to form a government for themselves. However, war for land ceased. It became a war for power.
The Crystals separated and returned to its normal realms, being undisturbed peacefully for five years until one day the people discovered them and learned how to use its remarkable power. Thus, the mighty group of powers turned its attention to acquire such energy. The Crystals helped the people of the land to exponentially increase their advances in technology. Science has made further leaps into success with the help of the crystals, leaps in which it would have taken hundreds of years instead of five years. Including the ability to go into space.
It was not paradise though. Each individual realm had a crystal, but organizations planned to seize them. Thus, war continued instead of a peaceful coexistence. Amongst the many groups, two stood out the most. Two were the most powerful. The two have the ability to challenge a nation for having so much power. They were called:
Nexus and Zodiac
Zodiac was a merciful organization whose justice amongst the people inspired thousands as well control one of the planets. They were thought to be the heroes of the world. They abided by the laws and ordered for peace in the land. Their goal was to spread their beliefs through out the world. They toppled many other factions and their army has grown over the years. Their kindness and compassion has let them gained the trust of the people under them as well as others. Their only threat is their rival, Nexus.
Nexus is the foil to the Zodiac. They are not as good as their counter-part, but they uphold the same belief and take the other planet. They don’t care whether someone will fall or live, as long as their goal is attained. Though they are the least favored, people found their ways to be exact and right. Though a little bit fewer than Zodiac, their members are all well-suited for combat.
Both wish to end the war as quick as they can. Their leaders are eager to bring peace throughout the world, but who is their leader? No one knows exactly. Only few have seen them face to face. Just who are the two mysterious leaders who have control of the two largest armies?
The world is changing quickly. Only few have the power to change its fate. But fewer have the heart to do it. Just which side will everyone choose?
