(Okay, this says open but if you're going to rp in here with us may I kindly ask for you to be active for this thread? It kinda gets boring sitting there for a full day waiting for someone else to reply here! And yes, I like going in post order starting the moment you reply XD! That way there's less confusion and doesn't get all jumbled where everyone's leaving confused post replies! The confusion, I hate because it makes my face go like this: @.@!)
The red headed Turk casually walked up to his apartment door and peered upwards. A smirk played across his face as he looked upon it. Sure it may not have the appearance of a palace or a regular house but it was pretty nice. In a place like this, the apartment was considered decent compared to most things someone would get around here. Having to travel most of the time, Reno really hadn't time to come here often to spiff it up to his usual standards.
He took out the keys from his right pants pocket and pushed in the apartment key. The apartment itself was like a two story home but one floor only belonged to himself. The other was owned by an old friend of his. Reno opened up the gray painted metal door and gestured for Garnet to enter first. "Ladies first!" he said. Holding the door open with his free hand. His metallic rod still slung over his right shoulder.
The apartment was sleek and metal. Nothing too special, really. Not like he cared anyways. As long as he had somewhere to sleep if ever Rufus Shinra had the Turks come here for the day. Inside, a stairway led upwards. These steps too were wooden. Surprisingly, they weren't worn. Most people who entered an apartment assumed the place would be worn out or something. Once inside, Reno inclined his head to Garnet before heading up the stairs. Blue eyes focused on the floor above where he 'lived'.
The top floor's door met them and he unlocked this with another key. This one was more copper than the dulled silver one that he used earlier. With a click, the oak door opened and revealed the top floor Reno technically lived in. It had the appearance of a regular home's. There was a big tan couch in the middle of what appeared to be the cross between the kitchen and the living room. A color television sat upon a hard wood table. The black remote currently sat on the middle cushion of the tan couch.
Strolling in, Reno beckoned for Garnet to follow him and whomever else before closing the door after anyone entered. "Meh! This may not seem like whatever you're all used to but it works fine. Besides, I am almost never here so there's not really time for me to make it look better than it is!" he said with a shrug. The kitchen was located behind the couch at a distance of en feet or so. It held a nice smooth counter who's color was black and light gray. The refrigerator was behind this as well as the sink and cabinets and stove. On the far right, there were two other doors. One was painted black and the other was painted dark blue like Reno's uniform. Walking over to the black one, Reno peered over his shoulder at the others before saying "Wait here! I'll go and retrieve another uniform." With that, he entered it and closed the door shut behind him. Reno didn't at all care if anyone used food or anything in his apartment as long as they didn't try to steal. On the counter there were a few beer cans that Reno had drank from a time ago and hadn't tossed away yet. The trash barrel was plastic and reached a hieght of three feet. It lay on the left side of the counter.

Garnet was very relieved that they had gotten to Reno's apartment, she had begun to get tired, as her adventuring days were very long ago, and when she did go off somewhere these days, she flew on a summon. She peered around him, and saw him insert a key into the lock on the door, which looked to be of a much stronger strength than those found in her beautiful city. That was one thing Garnet had noticed about this city, it was colder, wetter, and more.... sad in general. There was security everywhere, and they treated the people, especially the poor, well.... poorly. She was broken out of her slightly brooding thoughts however, by Reno gesturing her inside, and she blushed at his courtesy.
From what she could see so far, it looked.... professional. Far too.... impersonal. It made Garnet a little sad, but nothing really noticeable against the emotions that had been caused by todays events. She had known this guy for.... about three hours? And already she was taking his clothes. Well.... not taking. Borrowing. She walked inside the place she assumed was his living space, and peered around him before she entered.
She gasped in suprise. She had expected his home to be much more.... well..... messy. She looked around and recognized a kitchen, and a couch facing a.... painting? Why would the couch be pointing at a painting? It was quite a peculiar painting too, it looked to be marble.
"Its much different than I thoug-...." she turned to say this to the boy, but alas, he was gone!
Probably off to get her some clothes. She went and sat on the couch, inadvertantly sitting on a small black object. The painting on the wall turned on, to a moving picture of people being shot.
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Garnet screamed. She had never seen a moving painting. "Reno! A dimensional portal similar to Atmos has opened in front of your black shiny painting!"
(P.S. I thought the situation would add some hilarity. I mean, shes never seen a TV before!)

(Pretty good XDDD!)
Reno had begun to rummage through his bureaus in search of another suit when he heard what was unmistakably screaming from the other room. Reacting on instinct alone, Reno dashed out of his room with his rod poised for battle. He furrowed his eyebrows as his blue eyes met nothing but a screaming Garnet and nothing else. No enemies, no nothing.
Reno lowered his weapon and furrowed an eyebrow at Garnet curiously as he registered what she was yelling at him. Blinking at her, Reno came around and faced what she was facing and then snickered. "It's not a portal, Garnet!" he chuckled. Now knowing why the girl had screamed. Trying to keep on a straight face, he picked up the remote she had sat on moments before and pressed the upwards arrow on the remote that said channel. "See...that's no painting! It's called a television. Sort of like theater where you come from but in a box!" he tried to explain.
The channel had gone from people shooting at each other to people chatting on what seemed to be a talk show, and other boring channels. "He handed the remote to her and said "That arrow button right there changes the channels for you. The arrow that points down right underneath it makes you go back." After explaining that, Reno shook his head a little before laughing to himself silently and going back into his room again. Closing the door once more.
Reno resumed going through the bureau he had been going through and found an older uniform. What was meant by older was that the suit clearly couldn't fit him anymore. Poor Reno had a bad encounter with his washing machine that involved a few clothes getting shrunk. They seemed to be the right size for Garnet to wear without the clothing threatening to fall off. With that, Reno shut the bureau and then exited his room. "Alright, here's an old pair I've managed to find. It seems like it'd be able to fit you. Go try it on!" He said before walking over to the couch and plopping himself down after handing her the uniform. He definitely had the couch potato look to him. Having his arm resting on the top of the couch while the other held his weapon. "You can either try it on in my room or the bathroom."

"It... It isnt going to teleport us to a battlefield? Thats a relief..." she took the black bar from the boy, and he returned the room to which he had run out of, quite annoyed. She blushed, the boy... no the MAN had run out of the room ready to do battle on her behalf. Maybe she should make him her knight in shining armor. Or rather, in a rather sexy suit. Wait! Just a suit! Not sexy at all!
That was a pretty dress on the magic painting! She wondered how it look from the side. She would just put her head in the window. She got up and put her head forward, and with a "smack" her forehead hit the magic painting. She didnt think that would leave a mark, but it still smarted.
And luckily Reno walked in AFTER this embarassing incident.
"I'll take this chance to explore your bedroom." she took the clothes and quickly went into Reno's room, closing the door behind herself. Nothing of note in sight, and Garnet was FAR too highbourne to rummage through his stuff. She pulled the suit on, since it was made and tailored for a boy, it was a bit tight on the breasts, but it was snug everywhere else. She tightened the tie, somehow knowing how to tie one, and had it loosened, along with the top few buttons of her shirt. She walked out of the room hoping for a wow factor. She had put her hair up in a black bow, and the open shirt showed quite a large amount of cleavage. She had used some black eye shadow, and black lipstick, and had on her large leather gloves. Looking quite "badass" as she had heard some bikers say earlier that day, she bent over, and flipped her hair over her shoulder.
"So what do you think of me now?"
(P.S. I want you to imagine her hair is much like Aeris's hair.)

When Garnet entered his room, Reno had taken the remote and began to flip through random channels. It might take a while before the other finished dressing. The only reason why he came running back into the room hearing Garnet screaming was because he thought they were under attack. Reno had many enemies being a Turk. There were always people out to get you with a reputation like his.
However, since he was a Turk it was difficult for these enemies to get near him. Reno was always with Rude most of the time. Besides, he was older than Garnet. It wouldn't be right. He exhaled seeing that there wasn't anything of interest so he pressed the red power button on it and then got to his feet. He turned towards his refrigerator wondering exactly what sort of food he left in there.
Reno had recently stocked up fresher food but....one couldn't be too sure. Maybe he'll have one of the beer cans. Yes, that seemed like a good idea. Just one. Reno could take many more before getting drunk. How was that, he really didn't know. It even made Rude wonder at times. After all, Reno was smaller in size compared to Rude.
He had just about gotten the can out of the fridge after seeing how desolate the thing was since he had eaten most of what he had bought the other day when Garnet came back out of his room. Popping the can open, he hadn't exactly looked in her general direction at the moment. His main focus was on the beer right now. Reno had lifted the can to his mouth and was swigging from it right when Garnet's voice startled the hell out of him.
He had accidentally spit the drink out spraying it all over in surprise from hearing her voice. Reno had nearly forgotten the other was here. Regaining his self composure, he brought his gaze back over to Garnet. He had caught what she said but the sudden sound of her voice had nearly given him a heart attack because he hadn't noticed her exiting his room. From his vantage point, Garnet definitely looked like one of his fellow Turks members. No one would mess with her now.
In response, all Reno did was give her a thumbs up. "You've definitely gotten the Turk look down, alright!" he commented. Her hair had the appearance of Aeris's hair. Also, she was showing a bit too much cleavage. In fact, Garnet looked like the opposite of Aeris. "Now you can go around town without getting mugged!" he said with a casual air.
Looking at her, he said "You kinda look like someone I know but the complete opposite of her."

"Someone...." she said puzzled, "you know? Who is she? And how do you know her?" She looked down and began to smooth her clothing out. She placed the Queen's Rod back into the loop around her waist. She walked past Reno, listening for his response and took out a beer. She saw that Reno could somehow drink out of his, but.... she didnt know how to work it. She saw some blasted contraption on the top of it, but had NO clue how to work it. She just held it though. She wouldnt let Reno know how incompetent she was. She looked down angrily, she was so.... helpless.
"Reno? I have something to ask you.... I hope you dont mind, and you can say no if you want..... but I hope you will say yes."
(Sorry, didnt know what I should right.)

The red headed Turk gave a nod when she repeated what he had said about Garnet looking like someone he once knew. It was sad, really....what happened to the last remaining Cetra. No one deserved a death like that! He had started to sip more from his can of beer when Garnet asked him who the mentioned girl was. "A young girl....twenty two at the most. Her name was Aeris! Aeris was a woman my boss wanted for a project concerning Shinra corporation's survival and more Mako. She was killed a time ago....it was so fast...possibly painless but still a sad death!" he told Garnet.
Yes, from what he recalled Cloud mentioned the happenings after much demanding on Rufus Shinra's end as well as Tseng's. It was really sad. That's why Reno tended not to get too close to anyone. He could have friends like Rude but anything more than that, no. Mainly because it interfered with his work AND it'd be a dangerous life for the other if Reno was ordered to leave due to his boss calling him to come in that day.
"I knew Aeris from Tseng, my leader, and Rufus Shinra my main boss who took command after his father had been murdered. She was a very nice girl....sad she had to leave from life so early and in such a way." Reno had said this as if he were a mere acquaintance with Aeris. It was true. Only Tseng knew Aeris at the time she was a kid maybe a little older then. He hadn't noticed Garnet's grabbing a beer again and having difficulty opening it.
Reno simply raised an eyebrow after finishing up his can of beer before looking towards where Garnet was when she said she was going to ask him something. He really didn't mind being asked anything. All he did in response to the mentioned part of him minding was just a shrug. That clearly indicated he didn't care what he was asked at the moment. "What is it?" he questioned her after a moment's pause. Crinkling up his empty can before taking aim at the waste basket and tossing it right into the trash. Reno slightly grinned seeing that he had managed to shoot it into the basket. Bringing his attention back over at Garnet. Wondering what this kid was about to ask him already. Well, not 'kid' but teenager.

Garnet took a large breath to steady her shaking nerves, and to calm herself in general. Not only would Reno maybe get mad, but if she accepted she might die. She set the unopened beer on the counter, and looked up at Reno.
"I....want to... see this man you call Tseng. I need to speak to him about something. Or rather, try to get this kingdom to research something. Something very important."
She clenched her hands. She would get to her goal. Even if it cost her her life. She would do it. She felt tears rising. That wouldnt be good to cry in front of Reno, so she began to breathe again, to calm her shaking body.
"I'll tell you what it is if you need to know...."
She wished she DIDNT have to tell him, but most people in her kingdom already knew what consumed Garnet. The one thing Garnet couldnt do, no matter how hard she tried. Probably because she was in a magic based place, and the spell she might discover or need was probably FAR beyond her reach. But maybe technology could help? She felt her resolve finally dissolve the tears. She was a Queen, and a Queen she would be.

Reno gave Garnet a baffled look. Why would she want to see Tseng of all people? Of course, mainly why Reno was thinking this was because he often quarreled with Tseng from time to time. The number one reason being that Tseng often found Reno a bit too laidback compared to Tseng. Tseng was usually Reno's number two pain....Elena being the number one pain. Elena never relented nagging at him because of his not following orders like Tseng did whom the girl adored. The thing was, Reno followed his orders. He just didn't do it the way Tseng did. Tseng was more down to business where Reno was more for the thrill and fun of the assignment.
Why the hell would Reno be mad being asked this question anyways? Sure Reno was a red head and they were known for their short tempers but Reno wasn't the type to get angry over something like that. He furrowed an eyebrow at Garnet in wonder as to the reasons why she had to see Tseng. It wouldn't be easy for Reno to convince Tseng to listen to what Garnet had to say. Tseng was always butting heads with Reno whom was always second in command when Tseng fell ill or was too hurt for battle or any assignments.
Tseng, the reasons for trusting Reno with the leadership when he was incompetent, left Reno wondering why. Maybe it was because out of the other two Reno had been through a lot more than they or seemed more of the leading type than Elena and Rude. Elena was incompetent due to her attitude and ego. The girl was always leaping before she looked. Rude wasn't the leading type. Always silent and anti-social with most people. He tended to like fighting more than leading. Since Reno had more of a head than Elena and was more social than Rude, he was left the leadership when Tseng couldn't. Also, another major factor was that Reno was proud of his work and often got tasks done in the way of the Turks and not someone else's way.
He thrummed his fingers on the counter as he mulled over what Garnet was asking him. He didn't see why he shouldn't. Garnet didn't present any known threat that would harm Tseng. However, seeing Tseng wasn't exactly the one to see. It was Rufus Shinra that told the Turks what to do and what to help with. Looking back towards Garnet, Reno took notice of the way she was acting. It seemed like the kid was scared or nervous about something. There was one major question he wanted to ask and it was what she hadn't mentioned yet. However, he hadn't. It was probably too personal.
There was a good second, though. "By THIS kingdom.....what do you mean by that? This current planet or your area in general? Also, I don't think Tseng's the one you'd want to see about this issue....that'd be the higher up, Rufus Shinra. He's the one that tells my leader Tseng what to oversee and excetera..." He waited for her response. He didn't know why but he seemed to sense there was something wrong. "...Are you okay?" he asked Garnet.

She leaned against the counter, taking another breath. It seemed he wasnt mad, which was the reaction she had been hoping for. She didnt want to make Reno of all people mad. Not only was she just the person with the connection she needed, she had actually wanted to be his friend.
"By this kingdom," she said looking up at Reno, her gaze very piercing," I mean this city and whatever else is ruled by it. And I wish to meet your king, the one you call Rufus. Or Shinra? Is his name King Rufus, or King Shinra? It is always good to know a King's proper name or title...."
She was taken aback a little by the "Are you okay?" question.
"Rufus, Rufus, Rufus, you silly boy. A queen is always fine! I know this kingdom may be able to help me find the answer I need to find."
She was a queen, and a Queen of Alexandria, and now queen of many kingdoms. A queen would die for one citizen. She was in charge of her world now, and now she would be in charge of the hundreds of missing people.
"When the Crystal Incident happened..... when it happened.... all of the towns, villages, and cities all disappeared, and reappeared all together, one big city...." She stopped, hesitated. The next part was something that not anyone from her city told many other people. Because it hurt so badly. Because they would rather die than let the other kingdoms know their weakness. "Everything else in the world, and everyONE else that was out there, they are all gone. Many think they are dead and gone forever, but.... I will find them. I will give my life in defense of these people. If I can save but ONE of them, I would die happy."
She looked down. She lied, she wasnt okay. She tried to silently stifle the tears that slowly and quietly trailed down her cheeks. The biggest reason was that many of the friends she had traveled with were gone. Quina, Zidane, Amarant, Marcus, Blind, and the rest of the thieves that she had been "kidnapped" by, all gone. She wanted to find them most of all. She hoped that maybe they had just been sent to another place, but as time passed and no word came... she decided she needed to act.
"Please Reno, this is all I hope to ever ask of you."

Reno tried to keep on a straight face as Garnet asked about Rufus Shinra. Of all things! Giving Rufus a title like that and god help them all. Of course, being the president was sort of like a king. Sort of except for the fact people had more freedom than they would under a king or queen. He rolled his eyes at the silly boy comment. "Well, Garnet....the only one here who seems silly in my opinion, seems to be you!" he replied with a sly smirk.
"This isn't a kingdom....it's a city....and the guy that rules it is NO king! He's a president. Kind of like a king BUT his people have more freedom than others would under a king or queen!" he said smartly. Definitely saying something like that would be enough to get him knocked out or what not. "It's just Mr. President or Mr. Shinra, so you don't look like a silly teenager!" he commented with a snicker. Just pulling a bit of a joke back at Garnet for calling HIM a silly boy.
Reno gave Garnet a disbelieving look as she said that queens were always fine. "If YOU say so!" he said in an airy tone that clearly said 'I don't believe you'. Reno just remained where he was seated as Garnet continued to tell him about the problem she needed to be solved or whatever. Garnet would die for the people. Reno mentally shook his head at that. Then again, Reno and the rest of the Turks would die to keep Rufus Shinra alive.
Getting to his feet, he said "Alright, alright! I hear ya!" he said before slinging his rod over his shoulder again and heading towards his door out of his apartment. "Turning the knob, he said "I'm not exactly sure if Rufus will listen to you but....hope he's in one of his good moods." With that, Reno had pushed the door open and started heading out. Making sure to have locked the doorknob on his way out so that when Garnet closed the door it'd be locked after she exited the room.

Garnet quickly ran out and closed the door, she kept behind Reno at a good distance. She really should have more confidence. She should, but she didnt. She smiled, her face lighting up with with the hope that she could save her people. She was almost skipping.
"Are we going there?" She asked, pointing to the large tower that was in the center of the city. It looked rather foreboding, but she would brave it.
"Looks rather scary." She said chuckling weakly.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eiko still wandered the streets of Midgar. Garnet said to inform the people in her kingdom.... so.... Eiko had sent a dove. With a message firmly attached to its leg.
She knew thats probably not what Garnet had planned, but.... it would just have to work for her. Garnet may be the closest thing Eiko had to family, but sometimes she just had to rely on common sense. Leave her Queen and sole ruler of Alexandria alone in a foreign city? Not if Eiko could help it!
When she returned to the bar that she had first seen Garnet in, she was shocked to see the bar up and running again, after that large melee. She quickly passed the bar and continued towards the one defining feature of this annoying city. The Shin-ra tower. She had been in Midgar for a few days, simply learning the names of things that any normal seven-year-old in this city might know. And she had earned some money with her flute. The little blue-haired, horned girl, walked on, not aware that one of Shin-ra's scientists was watching her greedily. A little girl with a horn? that would be worth studying! Plus she had flown in on a large fiery flying creature a few days before, a creature that he hadnt been able to identify. Oh yes, Rufus Shinra would be VERY pleased with him. He moved in, quickly disabling the little girl on an abandoned street, and taking her to Shin-ra tower.

Reno casually walked towards the direction of the large tower. He could hear Garnet's question. Looking over his left shoulder, he replied "You got it!" In other words, that's exactly what they were heading for. Hopefully, Elena and Tseng weren't there. Elena never quit bitching at him and it did get awfully annoying. Especially when he had much more experience than she ever did.
The red head was already plotting his comebacks to the blond Turks' annoying nagging when he heard Garnet's reaction towards the tower. "That old thing?!" he snickered. Reno had no reason to fear it. He WAS a part of it in the first place. Eventually, they reached the tower. Glass doors faced them as they approached. Oblivious to the fact that the seven year old Garnet met with in the city earlier was now in this tower too.
Pushing one of the many glass doors open, Reno nodded to Garnet to enter. After that, he strolled right in. Nodding to the Shinra employees. Even Shinra employees knew enough to fear the Turks. Many were giving Reno a scared look before rushing to wherever their work was required of them. Reno payed them no mind. He went towards the elevators that were to their far right up a pair of steps. Pointing to those, Reno gestured for Garnet to follow him. He knew they'd be bumping into one of the fellow Turks members when they reached the upper floors.
Reno prayed it wasn't Elena. That girl was a nuisance. Who was she to yap at him anyways?! Reno pressed a button with his rod, since it wasn't activated, and waited patiently for the elevator to come down and open up for them. When it did, a few people quickly bustled out of their way. Two Turks wasn't very comforting for them. Reno entered first keeping the elevator door open for Garnet to enter and then pressing the button for the higher up floors. The top most one that reached to the floor just under the president's office. When the door dinged open, Reno stepped out.
Nodding to anyone that said their greetings to him as he turned to the right where a door led into another room with a stairway and another door. There was another door on the left wall ahead and Reno entered through this one. Coming out into a wide open hallway with a red carpet. The carpet led down the middle of the hall between two desks that people waved to them from as the two passed by. Two stairways led upwards at the same exact destination. "You can take the other stairway if you want....it really doesn't matter because they both lead up right into the president's office. If he's not in there we'll have to go down another floor from this one we're in now." With that, Reno took the right stairway and climbed up them to the floor above.

Garnet passed through all of this in a rather daze. The industrial walls were meant to be beautiful, but somehow irked her. Beautiful and ugly. From the reflective marble floors, to the industrial bullet proof glass on the elevators, everything in this place was strange looking. As were the perfectly preened and non-moving soldiers that seemed to be standing guard everywhere. There seemed to be more soldiers in here than in her whole city. Most of the soldiers also looked strangely at her. Who was this strange short girl in a turk's uniform? Hell if they knew. She stuck a little closer to Reno, as this place frightened her, even after his assurances. The girl almost took Reno's hand, until she realized that it would make her seem weaker. She did however veil all of her feelings well under a mask of coolness.
She let Reno go ahead as she rose up the stairs, altering her quick nervous steps to the regal rising queen. This involved her straightening out her body, and bringing her neck up to make her face look higher. She also relaxed her face and put her shoulders back, looking as much a Queen as she could in her current clothes. She didnt allow herself to smile. She would not be a pleading queen, but a slightly grateful and maybe even seductive queen. She looked about five years older at this moment, because of her makeup, and the way she was wearing her clothes. She was ready.

Reno remained impassive the entire journey up. He had no reason to fear his own allies. Of course, he might have not known all of these soldiers by name but just by his uniform and his own reputation here they knew well enough who he was to not attack him or impede him in anyway. Who else was good enough to watch over the president of Shinra? Well, his other Turks members that is.
Garnet was only being given a quizzical look here and there by soldiers because they hadn't recognized her but assumed she was another Turk they hadn't seen yet up until now. Reno had passed by a few scientists on their way up earlier and they had inclined their heads respectfully towards them as they passed. Reno just gave them a brief wave. He hadn't a clue about Garnet's fear here. This place was just so familiar to him that he wouldn't see that the other would be afraid of this place.
The two had reached Rufus Shinra's office which would have been his father's hadn't Sephiroth stabbed him in the back years ago with his Masanume. Reno let his metallic rod down to his side as he slowly approached the president's desk. He side glanced towards soldiers that were guarding Rufus Shinra. No Turks members were in sight which meant that President Rufus Shinra had sent them out on an assignment. Knowing his fellow Turks members, they wouldn't be gone for very long. Especially if it was just Tseng and Rude. If it were Tseng and Elena then it might take longer because of that girl always doting on Tseng. Hence, she was always distracting Tseng from their mission by striking up unnecessary conversations.
Reno recalled having to wait a good while for Elena and Tseng to shut up and just nab Jenova's head and in the helicopter no less. It was a lucky thing the helicopter had enough fuel then or Reno would've been yelling at them to move their asses. The red headed Turk stood there silently for a moment as he waited for Rufus Shinra to finish with the papers he was examining before the president looked their way. Reno gave the president a curt nod when Rufus acknowledged their presence with a "...Reno." Reno acknowledged Rufus with a "Sir."
Rufus brought his gaze over towards Garnet and raised an eyebrow. "A new recruit?" he questioned Garnet's presence. Reno glanced back over at her and then to Rufus. "Well, sort of...I had to disguise this lady to keep her safe!" he replied "She claims she needs to see you, sir." With that, Rufus looked over at Garnet more attentively. "Could've fooled me...What is it that you want, miss?" he said to Garnet.
Reno went quiet at that moment. It was all up to Garnet now. He couldn't help her from this point onwards. Unless Rufus needed confirmation. Which wouldn't be necessary.

Garnet was suprised by the man that met her eyes as she reached the top. He was far younger than she thought a king with such power would have, but his eyes held a wisdom, and arrogance, that went along with power. Definitely go with the flattery card, men with his look ALWAYS loved the flattery card....
"King Rufus, how nice it is to meet you. I trust I am not bothering you."
She bowed slightly to the man.
"I am Queen Garnet Til Alexandros XIII, I am greatly humbled to meet the man who has built such a city of magnificence and beauty," she internally grimaced, she rather thought that this city, with its industrial steel and non-human feeling look was NOTHING next to her beautiful city, "and I hope that you can help me. However, let us speak on friendly terms before we get down to business shall we?"
She said this last bit in a quite seductive voice. The man wasnt much older than her, and she looked a little above her age. She could pass for nineteen if she put on the right makeup, which she was. She felt something on the edge of her conciousness, but brushed it off.
----------------------------------------------------------------
The thing that Garnet felt, was the cry of a certain blue-haired girl. She was inside a large glass tube inside a large lab in Shinra-corp tower. She cried out in response to the electrical shocks the slimy man studying her gave. He had slipped her something that prevented her from summoning, or else this whole damn place would be under phoenix fire. The young girl was already containing the anger and confusion of being one of the last of her race, but now it was being unleashed by this torture. And the worst thing was, she was hearing a deep piteous cry from within her, but from deep below her. She would not know it, but the planet, after so long without having a lent ear of a Cetra, was lending its ear to the closest thing, another thing that knew how to talk to its own planet and nature, the young summoner. Garnet too was a summoner, but she was long dead to the deeper summoner arts, arts which Eiko alone knew. Eiko felt a deep cry from within her soul, a cry of pain. She couldnt quite translate it, but she felt that she wouldnt leave this place for awhile. Without knowing it, Eiko was becoming very similar to a Cetra. She could hear the planet, and the planet could feel her pain. And it was angry, and it was sending help, and soon, all would be hell.

Reno managed a slight smirk to himself when he heard the way Garnet was trying to butter up Rufus Shinra. Of course, Rufus Shinra may have seemed the type to like flattery but he was far from it. Rufus Shinra's exterior definitely wasn't what he was like on the inside. Inside, he was cold and stern. Very strict and uncaring of what others tried to do to get in his way. Slaughtering anyone that posed a threat to Shinra. Which was why there was many a fight between the Turks and Cloud's gang. Rufus Shinra had always put them up to it.
Rufus Shinra remained emotionless as Garnet called him King Rufus. Honestly, this young girl whom claimed she was a queen was trying to flatter him. Sadly, Rufus Shinra was too smart for that. Flattery didn't work with him. He didn't see any reason to be rude, though. Reno remained still and patient as he waited for the two to discuss whatever they were going to discuss. Rufus Shinra had glanced over at Reno briefly with a raised eyebrow. An exchange of looks that cl;early indicated that Rufus already knew what this girl was trying to do.
Looking back over at Garnet, Rufus Shinra spoke. Not smiling at all, he replied simply "Nice to meet you, Queen Alexandria the XIII." He clearly wasn't flattered at all. Rufus Shinra was too business like to take things such as charming complimentary words because he felt they were unnecessary and prevented him from getting to the point. Standing up, after having shuffled his papers and brushing a strand of blond hair out of his icy blue eyes, he nodded to Reno to show that everything was alright. The red headed Turk inclined his head respectfully and went a ways towards the stairway. There he'd wait while the two discussed Garnet's problem.
Rufus Shinra and Reno were oblivious to the fact a young kid was being experimented on in the floors below this place. Putting his hands behind his back in a business like way, Rufus Shinra walked around his desk to face Garnet whom was standing at a distance of about eight feet or so. Much like how his father had done in the past when speaking with his colleagues. Personally, Rufus Shinra thought his city he controlled was far from pretty. He thought of it economically and other more down to business things that a president of his stature had to watch over. Reno, he could clearly see, was now leaning upon the stairway's railing up ahead. Out of earshot. Fixating his cold gaze on Garnet, he replied "...Forgive me if I'm rude but I'd rather jump to the point than chat...I'm a very busy man, as you can clearly see!" He gestured with his right hand towards the papers stacked on his desk. That arm was the one that usually wielded his three barreled shotgun.
Rufus Shinra may have seemed like those fair guys that held no backbone to them but he was far from it. He could easily fend for himself if any of his Turks guarding him or Shinra soldiers were brought down. Folding his arms, he kept that emotionless look on the young queen. "Now....what is it that you need help with, miss?" he questioned her. Not at all wanting to speak like he were friends with someone because Rufus Shinra didn't make friends. He made sure he got results rather than making friends. In doing that alone, he was known for the most effective leader around this place. No one ever challenged him. Well, except for one exception such as Cloud or someone like Sephiroth.
Reno patiently tapped his fingers silently on the railing as he waited for Garnet to finish her meeting with Rufus Shinra. Personally, he wasn't exactly sure if the president would help Garnet. Then again, he didn't know Rufus Shinra that much either because of how mysterious Rufus Shinra could be at times.

(I hope you don't mind if I take control of a few Shinra Employees.)
Garnet cringed on the inside, but smiled on the out. So the flattery card had failed. No big deal. All she knew is that she must get what she wanted. Being far from the usual egotistical and spoiled queen, Garnet giggled slightly.
"Of course, of course, King Rufus. And call me Garnet, Queen Alexandria is naught but a title. And yes, I thank you for giving me some of your valuable time. I have happened to realize that this kingdom is far more technologically advanced than-"
She heard screams from below, and a guard of Rufus darted up the stairs, pointing at a large purple thing about twenty feet away from his window.
"Sir! A large monster just appeared, we must evacuate immediately!"
Garnet froze. She recognized this monster. But it wasn't a monster at all. She only thought its name.
Atmos.
The summon from her world that had destroyed Lindblum in only a few minutes. She gasped. She had sealed that summon DEEP inside a snowy crater in this part of the world. It had sank deep into something the people in this town called MAKO, or the Lifestream. She had thought it would have been absorbed into the planet.
"That isn't a monster," she said much calmer than she felt, "It is a summon, one that was supposed to be sealed away, long ago, by ME. Your planet absorbed it, which means that it is VERY mad about something. Something that is happening here. I can hold it off, maybe even beat it, but we need to find out what it is mad about before it possibly beats me. As a backup plan of course."
How could a planet be so angry at something? She felt something pulling her down wards mentally, down a few floors. She also heard another faint voice in her head telling her to help kill of these stupid men for kidnapping her... Hope-Child? No. It wasn't her thinking this, it was... something else.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Eiko finally knew what was talking to her. It was similar to the Lifa Tree. And as far as she knew, the Lifa Tree and its Mist was a defense mechanism of some sort, to stop threats before they started. So either she was talking to the planet, or an extension of the planet. Another electrical shock however, broke her thoughts, the small girls screams filling the glass cage, but not passing beyond its walls. How she wanted to summon SOMETHING to save herself, but the man had injected her with... something. She felt something though that was MUCH like a summon, but yet, much like the planet too. It wasn't that far away, but... it felt a million miles away inside this small compartment. She fell into unconsciousness, sinking to the ground, slumping. Her small body couldn't take much more of this.

(Meh! Go ahead! lol! They're only NPCs)
Reno was getting a tad impatient sitting here and waiting. However, since it was the President talking with Garnet he'd keep his silence. If this were just Elena and Tseng, he'd be yapping at them to move it by now. Elena and Tseng took a while when going out on missions together. It drove Reno up a wall at times to listen to them chatting instead of accomplishing their mission.
Of course, he knew that Rufus Shinra wouldn't take in flattery but get down to business. That's how the president always was. It sometimes was a good thing too. If Rufus Shinra didn't react to anything on the dime they'd be in for it a number of times in the past. Reno raised an eyebrow as he watched one of Rufus's regular guards come scrambling up the stairs just as Garnet finished saying something to the president. The young man appeared to be frightened of something and had pointed out a monster.
Reno brought his eyes over towards the huge window behind Rufus Shinra's desk. His eyes widened at the sight. Rufus Shinra just coolly turned towards the huge thing. His expression emotionless as always. "...A summon, you say?....Interesting..." replied Rufus as he casually surveyed it. Not fearing it in the least and if he did, no one would be able to tell because the president never showed such emotion upon his face. He always kept it calm and expressionless despite what he was being faced with.
Reno went right up to where Rufus Shinra was. Waiting for his orders. Of course, the young guard that came up said they needed to evacuate but that didn't mean Rufus would listen to him. When Rufus Shinra was ready to go, he'd tell them. Mainly the Turks he'd tell than the rest. It was then that a helicopter with the Shinra logo, small as someone's fist, flew past the very window they were looking at and obviously landing in the helipad. Those people in the helicopter, Reno knew, were other Turks members. "What are your orders, sir?" questioned Reno. Ready for whatever was thrown at him.
Sure enough, just as Reno had thought, in came two fellow Turks members. They two waited but were more so waiting to be ordered for the helicopter for an evacuation. Rufus Shinra didn't look at Reno as he watched the huge Summon coming their way. Peering over his shoulder towards Garnet, he asked "You sure you can handle this, Garnet? And, how can we find whatever is making this thing mad?" His icy gaze went over towards the guard that had appeared and said "Evacuate all employees...all soldiers and guards I want firing their best ammunitions at this summon."
Reno glanced from Garnet to Rufus. He knew Rufus Shinra may not leave until he was absolutely sure they weren't going to make it unless otherwise. The president was tough like that. Looking over at the two Turks members other than Reno, Rufus instructed "You two will remain here unless I order you to do otherwise!" Looking over to Reno, he mulled over what he was going to have one of his top four Turks members do. If they could figure out what was making it mad in here, he'd have Reno go looking for the source of the problem. What on Gaia could be making this thing mad anyways? Rufus Shinra was certain they didn't use Mako anymore here. He had personally made sure of it. So why was this thing coming after them?

Garnet began to get painful flashes of imagery from an un-identifiable source. She saw the purple gem that contained Atomos drop from her own hand. She saw it sink into the beautiful blood of the planet. She saw the process that transformed the now slightly twisted summon. Unknown to her, she had just aided the planet in creating another weapon. It was SIGNIFICANTLY weaker than all of the others but Ultima, but it was still a weapon, and not to be reckoned with.
"Reno, what are you doing here? You should-"
She dropped to her knees clutching her head, she had just gotten the images under control when she heard once again about the blue haired girl, accompanied by a familiar scream and face.
"EIKO!!!!!"
She turned to Reno and Rufus, her eyes glowing red with the anger of the planet. She still controlled her body, but the planet pumped anger, and rage, and sorrow into her body. For this girl was her planets only medium.
"Where is she?" She clutched Reno's shirt, an outline of light showing where her horn used to be, "Eiko, the girl you saw earlier on the street! She has a horn like me, we are the only ones! She is here, the planet is telling me so! Atmos Weapon will not stop until you stop hurting our Eiko!" She didnt know how she now knew the planets feelings and voice was coming through her now, or if she was now part of the planet now, she just knew that she had to find Eiko, and save her. Somewhere in the back of her mind was thinking of how she was going to kill the girl after she saved her, but the planet's needs were far too more important. The little voice was scared, her planet NEVER did this, and never in the little summoner history she had been able to find had this EVER happened on her world.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eiko woke again, and stood up. The soldiers, by the president's orders, were attempting to evacuate the building.
"THE WEAPON WILL KILL ALL OF YOU! IF YOU DONT WANT TO DIE, RELEASE ME NOW!"
The girl wasnt saying this from the planet, it was pure full-of-herself-Eiko. The girl seemed to have much more control over herself than Garnet did, probably because she was so much more... attuned. She decided that if she going to do something, she better do it now. She summoned Madeen, her Guardian Mog. It smashed through the glass, and she hopped on the beast's back.
"READY TO DI-....." She had her fist raised in the air, ready to kick some butt (in a lady-like manner of course) when she realized that everyone had evacuated, except for, she realized now, the now cowering, and slightly mad, scientist responsible for her kidnapping. She had Madeen slam the man into the wall and grip the back of his coat in her mouth. Of course the man didnt mind, because he was very much unconcious. She didnt know where to go however, so she took to tearing up the lab in which she had been contained for the time being, hoping that it would bring about something good.

Reno was staying here because it was his job to remain until given orders to get the hell out of here. If it appeared like he might be killed, Reno would take off. He knew of a spare helicopter located not too far from where the current one was that the other two Turks came from. No need to worry about Reno, he had his resources. If he hadn't, he wouldn't be alive to this day now would he?
Rufus Shinra furrowed his eyebrows slightly as he wondered what this huge Atmos could be angry about. Surely it hadn't anything to do with the Mako. Shinra never used Mako anymore. Of course, the laboratory might be experimenting on a few things here and there. Reno and Rufus glanced over at Garnet when she suddenly dropped to her knees. Something was wrong.
Reno raised both of his eyebrows when Garnet grabbed his shirt. Honestly, he didn't know where Eiko was. Wasn't that little girl suppose to be back in Garnet's kingdom? Rufus Shinra, hearing the name and seeing the outline of what appeared to be a horn on her head, reacted accordingly. "Eiko.....is that the name of that young child that scientist was talking to me about not too long ago? I could've sworn I told him NOT to go overboard with his experimenting!" he said aloud in thought. "Of course, I don't know if that's her name but there was a girl one of my scientists claims to have found whom had a distinct horn sticking out of her forehead. I told him not to harm the subject but it appears that he had done so the fool!" Rufus shook his head after saying that and then turned towards Reno.
Reno was impassively staring back at Garnet whom still clutched at his shirt. There was some sort of anger in those very eyes. Garnet's eye color had changed as well. "Reno!" the usual cold stern voice spoke. Peering over his shoulder at Rufus Shinra, Reno kept his gaze fixated on the president. "Go find this Eiko! If my assumptions are correct, she must be somewhere in the floors below in the laboratory....if not check the prison cells! Hurry!" instructed Rufus Shinra. Reno had nodded before bringing his gaze back down towards Garnet as he placed his hands on where Garnet was clutching his shirt.
"Sorry, Garnet but I've orders now!" he apologized before easily taking his shirt out of her grasp and then nodding to her before taking off. Running down the stairs out of their sight. Hopefully, he'd be able to get to the little girl in time. Rufus Shinra didn't look it, but he felt a bit concerned for Reno at the moment. He knew Reno wouldn't fail him but he also knew there was a time when things could go drastically wrong. The president walked over to the window and stared out at the approaching Atmos. No fear was held in those icy blue eyes of his as he looked upon this eerie summon. It reminded him of the Weapons this planet was capable of producing when in trouble.
'Come on, Reno! Find that girl!' he thought. The two Turks at the door leading out into the helipad were becoming a little anxious. It was obvious as they looked around and to the president. Their faces appeared to be tense.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reno was running as fast as he could go. It was amazing how quickly everyone of the employees had evacuated already. Not one soul was in the red headed Turks member's path. A bit of a relief right there since it made his job a lot easier. Of course, some would stop to take the elevator but he was certain there was no need for it. He only had one floor to go down to and the stairs wasn't very from from here. Besides, it took precious time for the elevators anyways if one was in a hurry. Time wasn't on Reno's side and he knew it. He'd have to move quickly or else the results could be drastic.
Entering a doorway and going around a wall towards another doorway, Reno came into a stairway. Hurrying, he hastily went down the stairs to the next floor. Leaping halfway off the stairs over the railing as he rushed through the open doorway into this floor. His head whipped to and fro as he went. He had passed the number of halls until he finally found what he was looking for. There was a sign above attached to the ceiling directing where the laboratory was. That was the first place to look. If Eiko weren't there he'd have to go down a few more floors. Following the arrows where the signs pointed to, Reno eventually reached the science department.
Reno looked about on the first floor of the science area. No little girl with a horn yet. She must be up the elevator then. Reno ran over to it and entered the small elevator. Pressing the button to go up, he impatiently waited as the elevator closed the doors shut and then hummed as it signified it was going upwards. Of all the darn things the elevator could have right now was elevator music! Why the HELL would the scientists install elevator music on this darn thing when it wasn't used too much?! Reno muttered about morons before the elevator came to a dead halt and let its doors slowly open.
Stepping out, Reno's eyes fell upon a trashed laboratory. There was an unconscious man in the far corner. The scientist, no doubt. Rufus Shinra may have him placed in the detention unit for not heeding his words. Reno walked past the unconscious slumped figure as he peered about for the little girl. "Eiko?!" he called out. Hoping that she was still here. If not, it was going to be a wild goose chase from this way on. The Shinra Headquarters was a huge place after all. "Eiko?!" he called again as he went deeper into the laboratory. "Eiko?! It's me, Reno!" he called out to her.
Then it occurred to him. The little girl might not know him by name. He slapped himself on the forehead thinking of that before he proceeded further inwards. Knowing time wasn't going to stand still just because he reached his goal. "Eiko! Garnet's here! She's waiting for you upstairs, I was sent to find you! Come on, Eiko! Where are you?" he kept calling out for the little girl.

Garnet sank to the floor. The voice dominating her mind made it hard for her to move.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eiko had only stepped out of the lab for a second. She had kept on riding her favorite summon, the monster-like creature roaring in pure rage. She heard a voice calling her name, and something about Garnet. She made the creature slam through the wall, and it crumbled. She recognized the red haired man on the ground, but she was on the summon's back, around fifteen feet above him. She didnt think she could see him, the hulking and roaring form of her summon looked threatening though, she hoped he didnt get the wrong idea.
(Sorry, got back from a con, and I dont have the energy to post a longer one.)

Reno had leapt back when the wall suddenly burst. Looking at it in shock, as the debris from the now collapsed wall, his eyes fell upon a large monster. "Hello!" he commented not as a greeting but more as a 'Holy Snap' type of response. His eyes were wide as he looked at the creature.
He didn't see Eiko astride the monster's back. His attention was mainly on the roaring jaws of the beast. Of course, he was clearly taking in the wrong picture. Right now, it appeared to him that the thing was going to try and eat him. Reno got into a battle ready stance.
