It was a normal day for Kail as he walked into his office of his detective agency called Mystic Twilight in Miami Florida. He sat down at his desk and waited for a job to come up.
On his desk was a a state of the art laptop wireless phone and a bottle of Pepsi that he got out of the frige "Man its been slow as of late I hope things will pick up soon" Kail said out loud as he sat back in his chair and waited for something to happen that day.

The doorbell rang. As soon as Kail opened the door, it was his old buddy Squall, who hadn't seen each other in five years. Squall rose his hand and waved it as a sign of saying hello. "Hey Kail, long time no see." He said as he walked in, looking around at Kail's place.
Squall was now 5 years older, he was 22 now. Ever since the Crystal Incident, he had been in Balamb leading SeeD in new missions. Now that the once known "realms" were together, he could move as he pleased, with minor fiend activity. Balamb was as always a mercenary organization, meaning, Squall could shift between Nexus and Zodiac as he pleased.

"Squall is that you damn its been a while come on in" Kail said as he led Squall into his office and pulls up a chair from one side of the room and places it in front of his desk. "Man its been what two years since we last met whant a drink" he asked as it was quite hot out there in the Miami heat. It seamed that after the events of the Crystal Incident that time in earth was much slower then the other worlds.
OOC-Sorry if this messes with the story but I whant Kail to still be a teenager so I thought a two year time skip would be a bit better for Earth.

Whilst those two were in the office above, a ruckus was going on below in the street right in front of it. Reno, whom had been walking around with his metallic rod out in the open, had attracted the local authorities' attention unintentionally. Now, he soon found himself being chased up and down the street. Nothing had changed about Reno except for the fact that he was now five years older but it wasn't obvious.
He still looked around twenty three despite being around twenty eight now. Reno had intended on coming to this area because he heard this was where the Zodiacs had their headquarters. Sadly, all he found was a bunch of suspicious and angry cops now chasing him all over the place. He had run all the way to the current street in front of Kail's place without even knowing it. Too busy running for dear life as angry cops with tazers chased him. "I SWEAR! I'M NOT GONNA USE THIS ON ANYONE! I HAVE A LICENSE AFTER ALL!" he exclaimed.
One of the cops snarled back "YEAH RIGHT! A LICENSE NOT EVEN OF THIS WORLD!" Reno shook his head as he ran. Not believing his luck as it was. He stuck out like a sore thumb here. His red hair made him quite obvious aside from running about with a metal rod slung over his shoulder as he ran. "THAT'S BECAUSE I TOLD YOU! I'M NOT FROM THIS WORLD!" he shouted back. The cops JUST weren't listening to him and Reno was starting to think that he was going to have to fight the cops.
He didn't like having to do it but it seemed like he was left with no other option except run himself out. Reno skidded to a halt as he turned towards the cops before him that were once behind him. Glaring at them all. "Alright, sorry to have to do this buds but you're leaving me no other option!" he told them. The cops just kept running for him and Reno back flipped out of their way so they had to take a minute to come to a halt and turn to where he was. He waited for them in a battle stance. Something better happen or someone better stop this soon or this situation could escalate into a much worser situation than it already was.

"Give a minute will ya Squall" said Kail as he walked out from his office and out into the street he see's Reno runing away from the cops. "Hey lay off he works for me" said Kail as he pointed to Reno.
Both cops stop chaseing Reno and turn to Kail "Oh sorry about that Mr.Lancaster we did not know he was working for you" said one of the fuzz out of fear and turned to Reno "You better be thankful that he saved your punk ass" as the two fat cops walk a way.
It seamed that Kail had a lot of respect from police and other law inforcement . "Come on in Reno Squall is already here so come on in" said Kail as he walked Reno in to his detective agency.

Reno was ready for an attack. Only then did he hear a voice shouting from nearby at the oncoming fat cops. He peered over at what appeared to be Kail as he raised an eyebrow. Blinking as he realized Kail must have held a lot of respect from the cops here. Kail was telling the cops to leave Reno alone and that he worked for him. Reno watched as the fat cops apologized to Kail before telling Reno he was lucky.
He gritted his teeth at them before muttering back "Yeah right! Like your fat legs could keep up with me before getting a heart attack chubby!" He returned his attention to Kail. He was surprised to see him. It had been what? Five years? "Hey, Kail! Long time no see!" he greeted with that usual grin he gave to those he knew. Reno was greatly relieved this situation hadn't ended up escalating into something much worse. He watched as Kail headed into a building right nearby.
Reno heard mention that Squall was here too. 'Well, the worlds aren't that big after all now are they?' he thought as he followed Kail's lead. Looking around at the pleasant surroundings. Not paying any mind to some strange looks he was getting because of his unusual red hair and his weapon slung over his shoulder. "Wow...nice place!" he commented.

Squall nodded as he saw Kail go down and handle the racket. He heard a familiar screaming down a few floors bellow. Squall put his hand on his face thinking 'Is that who I think it is...?'. And like always, he was right.
Squall was looking out the window and saw how Earth looked. It was fairly different from Gaia, there were much "classic" buildings, and they were very tall, not as tall as the one on Esthar that's for sure, nor was Earth as technologically advanced as Gaia.
As the door opened, Squall saw the familiar Red Head known as Reno. Along with him, they had saved the realms five years ago, and this was the first time he saw him. Squall gave a slight nod with a smile and said "Still ticking huh?". This was his odd form of saying hello to an old friend.

Reno went into Kail's office and found the place to be quite well kept. 'Yes, not a very bad place after all!' he thought. It was then he noticed someone else in here as well. Reno already knew whom it was. Heck, he hadn't seen the guy in five years. There was no mistaking that dark brown hair and scar across the forehead. For the actual first time in five years since he last saw him, Squall actually gave a smile.
Reno raised an eyebrow at Squall's comment before snickering at that one. "Oh, I'm ticking alright...if not I'd already be in the graveyard instead of here!" he chuckled. This was a bit mind boggling. "What about yourself, there Squall? And you, Kail?" he questioned them. To Reno, it seemed Squall aged more so than Kail whom still looked like he was a teenager. Rubbing the back of his head, Reno asked "Uh....is this world's time slower than Gaia's?"
It really made Reno wonder as he stood there before his old friends. Yes, five years had already passed without them seeing each other. Squall had to be in his early twenties by now. Kail, he wasn't so sure because in Gaia's time one would already be in his early twenties at Kail's age but Kail didn't look around twenty. Reno was already in his late twenties. 'Damn! I'm getting old!' he thought.
Reno didn't sit in the other free seat just yet. He didn't want to seem rude by simply plopping himself down on it. The room looked quite interesting and thankfully cool. Out there it was almost like walking into an oven. Reno was surprised he hadn't sweated much from running away from those cops. The cops here were different compared to Shinra's soldiers. There weren't exactly cops but soldiers that held the peace from where Reno came from.
Reno was like the president's bodyguard but still did the dirty work the president wanted them to do. Like blowing up the pillar to make the plate collapse onto the Sector Seven Slums. That, Reno hated doing but had also hated Cloud and the others back then that he'd done it out of spite to them. Eventually and ironically, they ended up as neutral comrades later on.

"Well I opened this place before I was draged off to the Crystal Incident, I mostly do investagations into the paranormal since only a few people can use magic or other skills like it here on Earth" Kail said as he finished off his soda and continued.
"Some times the law inforcement ask for my help in things that are way over there heads" he said as he leaned back in his chair then looks at Reno and then Squall "So what are you guys doing here on Earth"Kail asked is old friends.
On the wall there where a few pictures. On one of them Kail was standing next to a white haired teen with violet eyes and in front of the white hiared teen was a young girl with a dark shade of pink hiar and violet eyes. The one next to it was Kail sitng next to a girl that almost looked like him but a bit younger then he was. And the last one was Kail siting in chair with Iris huging him from the back with a huge smile on her face. And on the other side was a bookshelf with several old tomes and books lineing the racks.

Reno went over to the free seat, seeing as Kail wasn't going to ask him to sit there and placed himself in it. Listening to every word Kail spoke. Giving his full attention. Hopefully, the red head wasn't going to drift off in his mind. So, Kail had opened this place up at the age of sixteen before being dragged into that whole crystal incident?
Not bad. He blinked when Kail mentioned paranormal activity that he dealt with. Come to think of it, Cosmo Canyon had a lot of spiritual activity deep within the canyon back in Gaia. He sort of understood. Strange how this world varied from Gaia. People here hadn't much magic users like in Gaia. It was then that Kail asked them why they were here on Earth in the first place.
Reno thought for a moment as he decided the best way to answer Kail's question. "Well...I came here because of this mentioned Zodiac organization that's at war with this Nexus organization. I've somehow lost contact with my fellow Turks members and decided that since I hadn't much to do and had a choice over which side to choose, to go with Zodiac....also, I thought it'd be nice to have a look see at what your homeworld's like, Kail...maybe even bump into you, which I've already have thankfully!" he said with a grin.
He took note of the pictures here in Kail's office. There was the woman Iris from last time. Reno distinctly remembered what Kail had lost over that Kefka battle they all had. He waited for Squall to answer Kail's question. Not saying anything else on the matter about having lost contact with his fellow Turks. Reason why he had was because Reno had wandered off on them again to drink at the bar like he always did. He'd find them again, eventually.

Squall went over and sat down a seat across Reno. He crossed his legs and his arms as he went into thinking, just like always. He's always been like that, however, he had changed into being a bit more open than before. After 5 years, he was still the same guy. He took note on how Kail had opened this place at such a young age. This was a bit surprising, just not entirely, after all, Squall became the leader of a big mercenary faction at the age of 17, so it wasn't such a big deal.
He opened his eyes when he heard Kail's question. "Well....after the Crystal Incident, and the whole war breaking out, Balamb's been playing it safe, and became more of a mercinary faction, so we can go between the two sides." Squall said. He had never liked alliances, so a mercenary profession was the way to go. He shifted glance over to Reno asking "Whatever happened to your friends? Any idea why you lost contact?"

"Yeah same here Squall any way......" but before Kail could finish a young girl walks into the office to Reno and Squall it was the blond haired girl that almost looked like Kail on one of the pictures on the office wall.
"Hey Oni-chan you got a job...... Oh I'm sorry I did not know you had friends here aaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiieeeeeeee" the girl said with a acsent as she walked but triped on a rug that was put on the floor and landed into Squall's lap.
"I would like you to meet my little sister Serena" said Kail as he had a hand over his face sighed a bit.
OOC-I think Oni-Chan is older brother in japanise. Corrcet me if I used it the wrong way.

Reno gave Squall a rather sheepish grin before replying. "Heheheh! Well...you see, Squall...I uh.....drank one too many at the er....local bar in my area and um.....yeah! Heheh!" he answered. A rather embarrassed grin on his face. Not just that, but they were also nowhere to be found as well. "Also.....even out of my er....drunken state then....I still couldn't find them anywhere!" he said.
It was then that some blond girl walked into Kail's office. Judging from one of the pictures on the walls it appeared to be the girl that was similar to Kail in a way. Siblings if the assumption was correct. Reno stopped talking as he held his tongue to allow the two to converse. The girl made to leave but ended up tripping and falling into Squall's lap.
Reno snickered a bit before saying "Had a nice trip there?" Of course, he was only joking and to make sure the other wasn't offended he replied quickly "Just kidding! Um....you alright?" He was trying his hardest not to laugh because of the awkward landing the girl had made. Poor Squall.

Squall raised his eyebrow before giving a slight frown "Still getting drunk are you?" he shook his head afterwards. He turned his glance over to Kail, and then the door which had just opened revealing another character. She looked very similar to the pictures on the wall which gave Squall the assumption that this girl was Kail's sister.
Suddenly, the clumsy girl tripped and landed on Squall's lap. His eye twitched a bit before looking down at the girl "...." He didnt say anything as he just gave her a look.

"Uh ano I'm sorry" Serena said with a blush on her face and gets out of Squall's lap real fast and walks over to another chair in the room and turns to Reno "uhm yes I'm alright I guess I had one of my klutz attacks ha ha" she said as she rubed the back of her head with her right hand.
"Anyway Serena I would like you to meet my friends Squall and Reno here" said Kail as he frist pointed to Squall and then to Reno. "Hi nice to meet you two" she said with a smile on her face.
"So sis what was the job anyway" he asked with an eyebrow raised at what his sister said.
"Yeah some woman whanted you to look into Vector about finding inhuman tests on people she belived that aunt that was one of these people that where tested on,This May Viola would pay anything we whanted" said Usagi as she gave Kail a job request form.
"hhhmmm" Kail reads the form over a bit and speaks again "I'll take the job tell the client that I have excepted her job request,Also tell Sephiroth that I might be late for dinner" he said then turns to Squall and Reno "Uh sorry for cuting this short but I have a job to do,would you like to join me I can split the earnings with you guys" said Kail as he got up from his chair and started to leave the office.

Reno tried hard not to laugh at Squall's reaction before biting down on his own lip to stifle a fit of laughter that threatened to come out. The pain was enough to make him stop and Serena had gotten off of poor Squall. Reno raised an eyebrow when the other mentioned she had klutz attacks. "Well...you're not the only one, I'm sure!" he simply replied.
Reno was capable of something like that almost every now and then. Kail had introduced them to Serena and Reno gave her a nod. "Nice to meet ya too, Serena!" was all he said before Kail asked her what the job was about. Something about a dude named Vector. Reno glanced over at Squall to see if he was alright and what he might've thought about this before bringing his gaze back towards Serena and Kail.
Kail had gotten up and just asked them if they wanted to come along. Reno had basically just gotten here. Anyways, whatever earnings Kail had in mind really wouldn't help Reno much since he never used this world's currency. "Uh...I guess I'd go for old time's sake but you can keep the earnings!" he simply said before pulling himself up off of the chair he had been siting on before glancing back towards Squall to see what he'd say.

Squall gave Reno an evil glare upon seeing his reaction of his current situation. He quickly regained his composure after the girl quickly got off and introduced herself. "....Squall...." He said in his regular tone. He slowly got up and walked over to Reno upon hearing his clumsiness comment. "Yeah, this guy once fell through a hole on the stairs, he's one to be known about clumsiness." He commented on Reno to get him back about that small laugh.
Squall then raised an eyebrow upon hearing the name of Vector, this sort of rung a bell. Squall, being a mercenary, knew about these things. So he got a bit curious about finding out about this place. "Vector you say....count me in, dont worry about money, just for old times sake." Squall said while looking out the window.

Reno merely raised an eyebrow before giving a shrug in response to the glare Squall was giving him. Reno was just simply poking a bit of 'harmless' fun at Squall. He then dropped his jaw as he gave Squall a look of shock and then frowned at him. Apparently, they were at it again. "It wasn't MY fault the board broke!" he retorted back.
'Guess I deserved that anyways!' thought Reno before shaking his head a bit. "Alright, alright! I give, Squall!" he chuckled. Yes, Squall definitely got back at him. Quite well, in fact. He peered over to Serena and Kail again. Squall's voice emitted again. Reno then looked over at Squall when he mentioned that dude's name. Vector. Who the heck was Vector? Squall was coming along to, Reno then turned to where Kail was and headed for where ever he was heading.

Kail walks over to his car it was a coverted police car that Kail bought in a auction some time ago it was given a white paint job on it. He took out his keys and presed a button that would unlock the car. And Kail got into the drivers seat "Choose where ever you whant to sit" he said as he pulled on some fingerless driving gloves.

Vera a 15 year old was bored and going through the city she was new here and was looking at people she sees three people that she saw on the bio for the crystal incident 5 years ago she decides she might as well see what they were doing she jumps down and acts as if she runs through and hits into kail knocking him over "Oh im sorry" she says trying to sit up

Kail has a <ok right> look on his face "Ok Vera uh next time watch where your going alright" Kail said as he gets into the car but then thinks That girl is not normal he thought as he starts the car up. "Hey Squall,Reno ready to go" he said to his old friends.

Squall raised an eyebrow upon seeing what had just happened. Who was this young girl that had appeared all of the sudden? Squall crossed his arms as he tried to figure this out. Just then, he snapped back into the real world upon hearing Kail's words of getting in the car. It was strange, the cars here were much more primitive than those of Gaia. It didnt matter, this would be a good experience for him.
"Let's go." He said as he get in the car, just by the window. He glanced outside as the car got moving.

A few hours later they reach Vector "Damn this place is huge" said Kail as the building was quite huge. The Vectot building was made on a man made island.
They where stoped at secrity gate and guard walks out from the guard booth "Hey kid this place is not a mall go some where else" said the guard. Kail pulls out a wallet and show the guard his ID "So what your buisness here Mr Lancaster" asked the guard.
"Some one went missing here a few days ago and I am looking for clues, The personsn name was Nancy Viola I belive she was working in Genetics Department" Kail said as he pulls out a picture of the woman that was missing.
The guard looks at the ID and the picture.He walks to the booth and calls building. A few minutes later he come out "you can go on in Mr Lancaster" the guard said as he raised the gate.

Just as the gate was opening, a strong gust of wind started to blow. It was strong enough to push back anyone who didn't have their feet firmly planted in the ground. A dark portal opened, and a man stepped out gracefully, seeming to float in the air before landing gently on the ground. He had a strange attire with a cape, armor, and a tunic. His ears were pointed and his skin a slight grayish color. His eyes were red, and looked hard, as if he had seen quite a bit.
This figure was none other then Magus, master wizard and caster, as well as one hell of Scythe user. His weapon was not visible, as he kept it tucked away in a portal dimension, summoning it at will. Magus glared at the group, recognizing three of the people. The idiots from the Crystal Incident.
"Hmph. So, it's you idiots. Just my luck."

Kail's eyes go wide "Holy $hit its Magus" Kail said as he rembered playing Chrono Trigger. He got out of the car and looked at the all powerful mage "So why are you here on Earth Magus" Kail asked as he had bad feeling about this .

Squall glance shifted over to the new character that had just appeared. He remembered him from way back in the beginning of the Crystal incident. He was a very cruel person at the moment, it seemed like he hadnt changed assuming from this expression. He glanced back outside of the car's window, but still keeping his ear on Kails's and Magus' conversation, he had a bad feeling about him.
