Reno of the Turks stood silently upon the concrete of the sidewalk. At least, that's what he learned these paths were called. Earth wasn't at all like Gaia. People here were less technological than Gaia. Not to mention the fact that in Gaia there were more people wielding magic than people on Earth. He paused as he heard a distinctive sound nearby and glanced over his shoulder to whom was there.
He hadn't at all been affected by the sudden sound. First off, Reno was here to merely explore Earth better and to report to Rufus his findings. Mainly scouting out Earth. That was an assignment he had been endowed with from the president and he intended to accomplish the task. Reno was always proud of his work. However, one problem met him. The world's authorities were coming around the corner and spotted him with his odd weapon.
Labeling him as an immediate threat, Reno soon found himself having to run. "NOT AGAIN!" he managed to yell in exasperation as five or six cops ran at him wielding tasers. Reno hadn't attacked yet mainly because Rufus Shinra told him NOT to present any hostility. 'Man! I SERIOUSLY need to stop getting used to having my rod out in the open in other worlds!' he thought as he ran. Finally, he was cornered in and he had no choice BUT to fight. There were now twelve cops. What a brawl this would be!
Not that Reno feared them. More like he feared what he'd DO to them. One rushed at him, a rather fat one, and Reno kicked him backwards. The man flying into two others. A cold look was in Reno's eyes. Of course, he had his funny moments like the whole cops chasing him thing but Reno could also be serious when he wanted to be like right now. "What's the matter tubby? Can't handle someone like me?" he taunted with a bemused grin. Snickering at what he called the guy. Yes, he was serious but also known to joke around on the job aside from accomplishing the task at hand. "You know fellas....this isn't what I call a 'fair' fight!" he said. Chuckling before saying "I'm afraid you guys have your hands full!" Meaning, he thought he was on the advantage side whilst they were at the disadvantage. Thing was, it was true.

Nichollas had been walking around the path. she was humming the theme song for animaniacs, when she then jumped up into a tree. she then began singing "its time for animaniacs, and we're zany to the max. so just sit back and relax, you'll laugh till you callaps. its animaniacs. come join the warner brothers, and the warner sister dot-" Nico then stoped sining when she found reno fighting cops. she then shook her head. Jumping down, she then grabbed him by the coller and pulled him up in the tree.
rolling her eyes at him, she then said "I thought you werent suppost to fight." she then gave him a smile and she then continued with another song "Super-teen extraordinaire
Freakazoid! Freakazoid! Runs around in underwear Freakazoid! Freakazoid! Rescues Washington D.C. Freakazoid! Freakazoid! Unless something better's on TV Freakazoid! Freakazoid! His brain's overloading It has a chocolate coating Textbook case for Sigmund Freud Freakazoid! Freakazoid!" she then stoped and she then said to him "Rufie's gonna have your head as well." she then gave him an evil look. she knew that he knew she was gonna tell Rufus. Nico then said to him "why are you here anyway?"

Reno hadn't at all expected to get lifted by the collar and was now looking back at Nico. A ruffled look was on his face as he heard what she was saying. "Hey! I have to defend myself if anyone STARTS a fight first, okay? I'm not just gonna stand there and let someone wail on me!" he replied coolly. Looking down at the now very confused police officers. A slight amused look was on his face. Were the authorities that stupid here? Honestly! Shinra soldiers could do better!
Nico was singing some dumb song again. Obviously an annoying one from one of those kid's cartoons. He gave Nico a cold look back when he heard what she was going to say to Rufus Shinra. "Try me! I was merely walking the streets when those dopes chased after me and then cornered me. I was merely defending myself, thank you!" he retorted. Rufus said no fighting but he didn't say no defending yourself either. So, he wasn't exactly at fault either.
Glancing down at the streets, he replied after the cops took off "Exploring the area like the president wanted, what's it to you anyways?" he replied. Making to jump off the tree which he did thankfully. Brushing himself off, Reno began to walk up ahead. This time retracting his metallic rod so he wouldn't be singled out as a hostile again. Reno, not understanding fully what roads were like on Earth, found himself facing a yellow car coming at a rapid pace right for him! Back flipping, Reno evaded getting hit by the car by a mere hair. Watching the driver continue onwards not caring if they hit him or not. "WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING YOU MORON!" he yelled after the retreating car. Looking back over to where Nico was, he said "...Apparently, this place has more dangers than I thought."
"What're YOU doing here?" he questioned Nico.

Nico jumped down and landed on his back. she then asked him pulling his pony tail "why do you have to be mean all the time?" she then stodd up off him and she then said to him "i like freakazoid." she then smiled at him. She then said to him "correction. they were chasing you cause you made the stupid choice holding your rod in public red headed mullet lad." she then continued to walk and she then sighed. she then tossed Reno a bomb and she then said to him "i made it for ya foo. i know how you like it when things go BOOM."

(  ! That's considered powerplaying a bit there landing on him like that lol!) Reno got angrier at Nico for that. "HEY! Hold respect for other Nico! I'm not a landing pad!" he said angrily. Rubbing the back of his head when Nico let go of his ponytail. Giving her a dirty look now. How dare she?! Honestly, Nico was lucky Reno wasn't one to attack his own teammate. Otherwise he would've done it by now. Raising an eyebrow, he replied "The only reason why I'm mean is because you're a-!" He never finished his sentence because the cops spotted him again. They eyed him carefully seeing that he had no weapon. Maybe they thought he was the wrong guy? Reno just stared back at them as they passed. One of them said as they passed "You better watch yourself boy!" Reno rolled his eyes before mocking what the guy said in a low tone "You better watch yourself boy!" He was almost caught by surprise when a bomb was tossed in his direction. Thinking Nico had planned on blowing him up, Reno dived away from it. He was relieved to see it hadn't at all been ignited in the first place and got back to his feet. Brushing himself off yet again before shaking his head. "You need to not toss things like that around, you!" he said as he picked it up carefully. Putting it into his suit jacket's pocket. "Knowing your luck when it comes to explosives!" he said with a smirk knowing very well what he said was a way of getting back at her for calling him a red headed mullet lad. "Thanks, though!" he said soon after. No longer angry since his attention was now running over to what appeared to be some sort of strange looking building. Wait...was that a statue? |

Nico had been walking away from Reno now. Sorta ignoring him now. she then turned around and added "oh i was building that bomb and it blew up on me once so be careful, plus the explosion is gynormus and can destroy a whole city." Nico was also very intelligent. she was able to predict things and was not always right but could kinda guess.
Nico was now continueing to walk. (this is where smile by lily allen plays) she smiled and continued on hoping Reno would follow. she then stoped and got a sense or deja vu. she then stood there not moving and she then realized what it was. She turned around and ran back by Reno and she then reached into his pocket and pulled out the bomb and tossing it high into the air and watched it blow up. she then closed her eyes. "some one was messing with my things again." it has been happening for a while now. bombs Nico had build perfectly were all the sudden blowing up.

Reno hadn't intended on following Nico. She annoyed him enough already. He wasn't mad at her anymore but didn't at all want to get ruffled again. It was then that she mentioned the bomb could go off and he gave her a 'what else is new' look. He made mental note to somehow get rid of it so that it wouldn't blow up while he had it on him. That was when she ran up to him and snatched it out of his pocket tossing it high into the air.
"HOLY-!" he managed to say before covering his head as the thing exploded above them all. When the explosion ended, he slowly uncovered his head and gave Nico a flat look. Of course, she was smart when it came to the bombs but sometimes she was a walking danger. "It's a very lucky thing that didn't blow up on me! Rufus Shinra would've had your head for that one!" "...Thanks....I think." He made future note that if he ever took a bomb from her again to toss it seconds later at anything he intended to kill off. Not trying to save it for later and end up being blown up.
"Anyways, who'd want to mess with your explosives in the first place anyways? You set them off most of the time on your own as it is!" he said with a slight snicker. Slightly teasing Nico.

Nico stood there. she shook her head and she then said "I dont know."Nico still had her back facing him. she then felt a little upset. if she didnt get the deja vu thing, Reno would be dead. She then mumbled to herself "how could i be so stupid." she then closed her eyes. a little breeze came blowing her red hair. she then put it in a pony tail and she then turned to Reno and she then said to him "sorry i shoulda known." she then looked up and a little smoke cloud was there from where the bomb exploded.

Reno knew very well he would've been blown to kingdom come if Nico hadn't caught that then. Nico was annoying but she wasn't that bad at times either. He furrowed an eyebrow hearing that Nico hadn't a clue as to who could be causing the bombs to set off like that. Even that was a bit more than her usual explosions going off type of thing. Rubbing the back of his head, Reno pondered as to who could be getting at Nico's bombs so easily without bumping into anyone of the Turks members.
Unless....there was a traitor in their midst. Reno's attitude had gone dark at the mere thought of it. If anyone dared to turn traitor, he aside from Rude would be the first to eliminate them. Reno had done so to Don Corneo in the past, Rude making the last killing blow not too long ago because the jerk faked his death. Looking back in Nico's direction, he said "Well, we could try putting more heavy duty surveillance cameras in the room where you keep your bombs.....maybe even a concealed one somewhere....that should reveal who's doing that." If it were all a joke, it was a dangerous one. Sure Reno was capable of pulling pranks on others but not like that.

Nico still had her back turned to him. she didnt really say anything. she just felt horrible now. it was a different story if he was the one that got hurt. Nico sighed. she then said to Reno "maybe." she then sighed and she then said "God, who ever is doing this, i wanna kill them for almost killing you." she then faced him to show him her rare serious face. she was pissed and she also hoped Reno would see thtat. she then asked him "so what have you and Rude been up to lately, i havent seen you in a while."
Nico stood there smiling at him. of course she has been really busy too and knows how much energy being a turk takes out of people. Nico's job was just to build weapons but when she goes off into battle she can really drive an over kill. Nico then lookked out and saw the sun set. she had never really paid much attention to it and she then said "now thats gorgous."

Reno merely rolled his eyes. "I'm used to people trying to kill me, Nico! I'm a Turk and obviously made a few enemies in my past enough for them to try and get back at me...sadly, not many can get too close anyways because I've already killed enough of them to prove I'm not to be messed with!" he replied. Tapping his metal rod slightly as he moved it when speaking to Nico.
He didn't need her to defend him. Reno could fend for himself and rather would have it that way. "Besides, I don't need others looking out for me...just watch yourself, I'm sure they intended that bomb for you and not myself since you're the one that handles the bombs more than any of us!" he said. Reno could see that Nico was pissed off with whomever it was. If anyone tried another attempt on his own life again, he'd personally do away with them first.
It was then that Nico questioned him about what Rude and himself were up to lately. Shrugging, he replied "The same old stuff!" That was all he was going to say. Nothing new about the things he and Rude did from time to time. Nothing new at all. Just their usual complete missions successfully and hang out at the bars like they always did. Nothing new.

Nico grew more angry she then turned around and she then yelled back at him "who ever said i was looking after you?! all i said was i wanna kill the person doing this and all you do is stand here and be a jerk?" she then calmed down a bit and shook her head. she then looked back at him and continued yelling "you just dont care, and you know what? I dont friggin care either." she then paused and she then yelled "there is so much more i want to yell at you right now but i cant." she then sighed and waited if he was going to yell back at her.

Reno just turned away from Nico as she started yelling at him. "Yeah, Yeah! Whatever...I don't have time for your yapping!" he shouted back over his shoulder before giving a brief wave as he continued to walk away from her. "See ya!" was all he said last before resuming his mission. He hadn't time to squabble with her anyways.
Nico wasn't worth the time. Before long, he had walked enough distance to the point where he wasn't in her sight anymore. Trudging through the number of locals here. Earth was like Gaia in some ways but had its differences. The technology here wasn't as high as Gaia's in certain aspects. He needed to see what their military was like. Surely like Shinra's but maybe less advanced. In either case, he needed to see. That's what he had been ordered to do. No distractions were going to get in the way anymore.

Truth was, Reno didn't care about petty arguments. Himself and Rude once went to rescue Elena when she needed help. If a comrade was in danger, he and Rude as well as the others would come to help out. Since Nico was just crabbing about what he said, he could as well just give a damn. All she was, was a distraction with her petty making conversation crap. All Turks knew that if one had a mission they hadn't time to mess around sitting there talking with another if the other hadn't been ordered on the same mission.
He went on his own, surveying the rest of what Earth had around here.
(Uh...end? O.o? XDD!)
