Yuna walks into the small vilage with her staff laying on her shoulder. She didnt really enjoy the trip on the Strahl, since she was unaccustomed to flying on such a ship. She was disappointed to see so many innocent people turned to stone and did her best to not look at the motionless statues. Her head was lowered to prevent such a sight.

Balthier lets everyone off the ship when he contemplates something. He turns to Yuna.
"Lady Yuna, I must bid departure from you for the time being. It is time I go and retrieve an object that would help restore these people to their own natural state. It appears that I cannot do much else here for now."
Balthier enters the Strahl and begins liftoff procedures...he was going back to Ivalice.

Yuna was surprised by this news of his departure and it took er a couple of moments, in which, Balthier had time to board the ship. Frustrated and annoyed, ("The nerve of this guy!") she stomped back onto the ship before he could leave and she met him on the deck. She pointed a finger in his face.
"You can't leave. You're my Guardian!"

Balthier not turning his face towards Yuna looks at her.
"...I am going to my home world, because there I believe I can find an object that can break the Stone Trance your people suffer from. We don't seem to be making much progress here, now are we?"

Yuna narrowed her eyes on Balthier, her arms crossed over her chest in a pouting sort of way.

Balthier gives a sly look to Yuna.
"I don't know, come with me to find this object, stay here and get stronger...it is entirely up to you, but I feel that I cannot sit idly by and do nothing while your 'Sin' rampages around like it is."

Yuna shouted in his face, and turns and stalks out of the airship, muttering curses under her breath.

Balthier sighs and looks at Yuna. He decides to reveal his little surprise to her as he stands up and walks in the direction that she left.
"Yuna! Listen to me, a face as beautiful as yours and a soul as pure as yours should be spared from such a beast. I ask you to take this time to rest and bide your time until I return with the means to help your people and possibly destroy your 'sin'. Besides, I have a little surprise for that beast before I go..."
Balthier pulls out a small device that looks like a large grenade or a small bomb. Within is a chamber of glass and magic containing a blue glowing stone. It was a Nethicite Bomb. Balthier gives an evil grin to the device knowing full well what it could do.

Yuna turns and frowns at Balthier, but her eyebrows were raised in curiosity.

"This...is a Nethicite Bomb. A very powerful magical weapon that emits a high powered explosion on detonation. I intend to drop this upon that Sin creature on my exit...it is not likely to kill it, but it should cause some severe damage and force it to retreat for awhile."

Blue hears the conversation between Balthier and Yuna and walks over "hhmmm a bomb that small can do that mutch damage" asked Blue.

Yuna shrugs to herself. "Alright then" She now turns and heads out of the airship.

Balthier silently re-enters the airship and closes the bay door. He begins lift off procedure after the others are out of range and flies off. He uses his radar to find Sin as the hulking beast is found in the middle of an ocean. As he hovers over Sin many miles away from Besaid, he drops the Nethicite Bomb and then flies off at full speed. The thing explodes causing an explosion easily visible from Besaid and blows half of Sin apart. Of course Sin will regenerate, but for now it is slowed due to the venomous effect of the nethicite shards draining the magic. Balthier satisfied activates his warp device and enters the void to return to Ivalice...to right the wrongs done there.

Yuna turns back just in time to see the explosion occur in the distance. A distant roar petrifies the sky, and the ground shakes slightly from the impact. But all Yuna does is stand there for a moment, then turns and walks back toward Besaid with a frown on her visage.

Blue follows Yuna to Besaid. "So Yuna you mentioned about something about Sin" asked the blue robed magician as he closed the gap between them so that he was walking right next to her.

Yuna says, her staff held between her crossed arms. She seems somewhat distracted.
"What about him... or... I mean, 'it?' "

One evening in Yuna's sleep, a vision appears before her. An ancient temple filled with flame, a challenge awaits. The laughing of a demonic creature can be heard from within...it was Ifrit.

Yuna jolts awake in the middle of the night after seeing the vision. She had broke out in a cold sweat. She immediatly gets up from her bed, messaging her temples with her index finger. What was that about? She never usually had dreams, and when she did, she seldom remembered having them. This one stuck out like a sore thumb. She got up and dressed, even though it was in the middle of the night, she felt as wide awake as ever.
Yuna stepped out of the small tent she had rented out for the remainder of her stay. She made her way toward the ocean that bordered the village, an astonishing sight to see at nighttime.

Blue walks over to Yuna as he could not sleep as well. "Good evening Yuna" he said and and stands next to her. "What seems to troble you" Blue said as he was consered for his fellow magic user.

"hhhhmm some say that dreams are sometimes visons of the future" Blue said sageily as he looks up to the sea of stars that where not his own. "But thats just me" said the blue robed magcian as he waits for Yuna to reply.

Yuna thought over this, her eyes wondering over the sparkling waves that splashed over the beach. If it was a vision... then she would actually meet that beast.. Ifrit?
