[Squall]

In the darkness of the End of Time, a familiar figure made himself known. Everyone that had been in different worlds that had not been turned into stone were suddenly transported here. The reason was unknown. The person was hovering above the ground, looking down at everyone that had been brought here. His face still shrouded in darkness, he talked.


: So nice for you all to join me here, are you all ready to witness something really...frightening?

[Balthier]

"Who the bloody hell are you.." Balthier says drawing his bayonet

[Kail Lancaster]

Kail was some how drawn to this place,he then sees the guy that caused him to be stuck in this world . Kail takes out his weapon the revolution and forms two long swords and waits for something to happen.

[Squall]

The man chuckled at Balthier's question. He rose his hand and opened a portal. Beyond the portal, there was a world full of life. Huge oceans, mountains, buildings. This world was known as Earth. The mystery man then spoke again.

: Well Im everything that remains of my former self...and your nightmare.

With these words, he extended his hand to the portal, a massive blast came out of his hands that headed towards Earth. When it hit, an explosion split the mountains and instanly dried the oceans. With the chaos happening, the portal shattered. He had just destroyed one of the realms. His power was truly frightening.

[Kail Lancaster]

Kail's eyes go wide "HOW DARE YOU DISTROY MY HOME" he yells as he charges at him,Kail's speed was off the charts he then goes in to a slashing frenzy on the distroyer of Earth,each one of Kail's attacks was geting stronger with each strike.

[Squall]

Squall stood there looking helpless. He was definetly frightened from seeing this person single-handedly destroy an entire planet. The next thing he saw was Kail suddenly charge up to this person. The first time, they were all defeated, he doubt any of them had made any progress.

"Wait, no!" Squall said to Kail.

[Reno]

Reno hadn't figured out how the heck they all got here. Where the heck were they again? Oh yeah! That creepy place that everyone first came to in random portals and such. Now, they were here once again. What for? The red headed Turk glanced silently from Squall, to Balthier, and then to Kail. He was about to speak when a voice suddenly loomed from the shadows making Reno whirl around in surprise.

Once he recognized whom this was, his blue eyes narrowed. Glaring at the unknown figure whom had caused the stoning of the many people from each world. He gripped his metallic rod tightly as he glared at him. "You!" he snarled as he stood his ground. Though ready to attack if the need be. Sadly, he knew they weren't at this dude's level just yet. However, he wasn't just going to roll over and make it easier for this fiend.

He furrowed his eyebrows as he gave this man a quizzical look upon hearing if they wished to see something terrifying happen before their eyes. Reno scoffed at him. The man then suddenly showed a world filled with many lives, seemingly and quite lush and diverse....he blew the planet up!

Reno's jaw dropped as he saw a beautiful land go BOOM. Eyes wide in shock as he saw the planet get completely vanquished. Kail had reacted almost immediately. Lashing out in a frenzy at this man. That planet was Kail's homeworld. Reno, even though he knew it may be hopeless anyways, replaced his shock with anger. Deep anger. Sure it wasn't HIS home world but the idea of seeing other people and the planet and things that lived there all get vanquished made Reno angry. This guy had to get a taste of their anger though they weren't probably as strong as he was just yet.

Reno dashed in and triggered his metallic rod. Joining Kail's side. Sure the two may have looked like complete idiots attempting this but at least they didn't stand there and take it and let this guy mock them. "You jerk!" he growled as he went to where the mysterious man was. Lashing his metallic rod at him, which was activated, and tried as best he could to try and lay a good smack here and there wherever he could as well as a few kicks. However, there probably wasn't any guarantee that Reno and Kail would succeed. At least he was trying.

[Balthier]

Balthier is horrified at the sight but keeps his composure. He holds his hand to his face as he focuses his energy. Six spheres of fire fly at the enemy setting it on fire

[Squall]

The mystery man laughed after destroying Earth. He wasnt done yet. He chuckled after seeing Kail and Reno charge up to him. He put out his arms to his side. Then he spin around causing a giant wave of energy that blew everyone away. He grabbed Kail by the throat and threw him aside.

: I'd kill you all...but I need you alive for just a bit...longer.

The man opened up another portal. This showed a meadow, the world was also full of life, it was full of castles. THe world was called Vahalla, the man smirked evilly as he threw another blast at this portal. Same as Earth, he destroyed another realm. Everyone that had been brought here was blown away by the blast.

[Reno]

Reno squinted his eyes as he was blown back. He got back to his feet again before gritting his teeth. The blast had hurt a lot and standing was a bit difficult at the moment. He glared. This man was just too strong. Would they ever succeed in getting everyone back to normal again? What were they to do about that vanquished world now?

Then, the guy opened up yet another portal. Another planet was there before their eyes. Reno's eyes widened. Was he going to do what he thought he was going to do, again? Reno's mouth dropped again as the next planet was destroyed. Reno was once again blown backwards by the explosion. Unable to get to his feet at the moment from this second blast.

"You....you bastard!" he managed to say. Grimacing from the pain he was in. Unable to get up but able to sit up and glare. It hurt him just to be sitting up at the moment.

[Kail Lancaster]

"No must get my revenge for my friends"said Kail as he trys to get up again,He uses the swords to brace himself as he stands up. He uses a Cure spell to heal most of his wounds. Kail then sees another world get blown up. For the second time in his life Kail is scared shitless at the site of this man for distroying another world so easily.

[Squall]

The man started laughing maniacally after destroying another world. He looked at everyone that had been brought here. He then looked at Reno and Vincent and started talking.

: Well...you're looking the same...arent you....Reno, Vincent. Its me....another...SOLDIER buddy of yours.

He then grabbed Reno and threw an energy blast that his stomach enough to knock the wind out of him. For some reason, he seemed to know them.

[Squall]

"What the...?" Squall had no time to react. The next thing he saw was yet another World be destroyed. He clenched his fist in pure anger, that anger turned to curiosity as the man spoke again. For some reason, he seemed to know 2 of its team mates.

"...Who the hell are you?!" Squall said as he charged towards the man. He knew he had no chance as he were, but his anger overpowered his common sense.

[Kail Lancaster]

Kail then folllows up Squall's strike with his own blades as he puts all of his power in to one massive strike as each of his runes are now runing along his two swords.

[BlackEcho]

Vincent had appeared in the realm like everyone else, but he was possibly one of the few who kept his cool during the... "talk." As he watched the unknown man destroy two full realms of innocent people, his eyes narrowed, a frown creasing his lips as his fingers inched over Cerburus. Then the man, spoke he mentioned something about SOLDIER.

SOLDIER... The group Cloud and Sephiroth belonged to. His thoughts raced as he tried to remember his encounters with them. When he saw Reno get attacked, he finally raised his gun and aimed it at the man with one hand. He did not know who it was, but he wouldnt really like to find out either.

He holds down the trigger as red energy gathers up in the holster. After a few minutes of this, Vincent lets go, a fire-powered barrage of bullets heading toward the figure.

[Squall]

The man smirked evilly upon seeing the people trying to attack him. He dashed towards Squall and grabbed him by the neck. The hen tossed him to Vincent's attack thus shooting Squall several times in his body. He wasnt done yet, he grabbed Kail and used a low-level lighting spell to stop him in his tracks.

: My...how you've all lost your touch. Its me, Zack! Its been quite a while...

He gave another laughter as he opened one last portal. It lead to the world of Vana'diel, it was another world full of life and prosperity. He shot another blast and gave it the same fate as Earth and Vahalla.

[Kail Lancaster]

The lighting spell only slowed Kail down as his Jupiter rune corsponds with lightning. The swords have elcetricty runing all over the swords as they absorbed the spell and gives Kail more power. Kail does a x slash motion with both of his swords and sends a X slashing arc of electricity at Zack.

[Reno]

Reno was sitting there glaring up at this mysterious figure. Just who the hell was he? He then furrowed his eyebrows upon hearing this man say that he knew them. Another of SOLDIER. How could that be? Most of those that were of SOLDIER weren't here at the moment.

There was Cloud, Sephiroth...and another that was said to have been killed. That SOLDIER'S name was Zack. "What're..what're you talking about?!" he replied. Looking at the dark figure incredulously. How did HE know them? He glanced over at Vincent curiously before looking back over at this person. It was then that he was grabbed and then had an energy blasted into his stomach knocking the wind right out of him.

"ERGH!" he managed to grunt with pain as he coughed. Reno now definitely wasn't going to be able to get up after this. He'd be unable to move for hours now. Reno grimaced as he held his stomach region. Doubled up as he tried to regain his regular breathing pattern which was very difficult due to the blow he had taken.

He coughed as he turned his head to look up at the man. His eyes widened when he heard that this person was none other than Zack. How the hell was that possible? Zack was dead! Plus, Zack never did anything like that from what he could remember. Zack was more of the happy go lucky type than the malicious disposition Sephiroth mainly showed. Exactly, what happened to him? Then again, it couldn't be him. It couldn't. The real Zack back in Gaia had died years ago and already had become one with the planet.

Gaining just enough air, Reno managed to say "You...you lie!" He stayed doubled up for a few more seconds as he let his head face the ground before regaining more air to speak again. Looking back up at the man that claimed to be Zack. "Zack's...he's...dead! He died....years ago!" he managed to say.

[Squall]

Zack looked at Reno as he was struck by Kail's strike. it did not faze him in the slightest, however, it did manage to illuminate his face for a short second. It showed a pale face, eyes as white as snow. Then, the face was covered in darkness once again. He spoke again

: Me dead? No...ask your little bastards at Shinra. They managed to get my fragments from the lifestream...they were able to reconstruct me. However, that wasnt enough, they needed more...so, under the cover of darkness, they used the power of Gaia's crystal to open a doors to other realsm, secretly collecting Genes from the best fighters in each realm. Like him (he points at Squall). They wanted to create another Sephiroth, one that could be controlled. I didnt care...I wanted to see HER again, however...when I came back, she was DEAD! Now...I'll use the power of the crystals and your life forces to bring her back. After Im done...I'll kill you all in such a miserable way that will make the reaper's stomach turn....

The hatred in his voice was bone-chilling. He had revealed his purpose. However, he couldnt kill them yet. He needed their life forces, however, none of them were strong enough.

[BlackEcho]

Vincent clenched his golden fists together, looking at Zack at what seemed to be pure shock. For once, he had shown emotion on his usual apathetic visage.

Zack, or what he heard about him, was a SOLDIER as well. Reconstructed? Was that even possible? Nevertheless, he wasn't to be taken lightly, so he took a few steps closer and fired a few more times in his direction.

[L]

The man known as L appeared behind the group, looking at Zack with apathetic eyes. His gaze didn't rest on him however, for he shifted his eyes to examine the rest of the people that were here. He remained calm and cold, but L gave off an uneasy aura that will affect everyone but the leader, Zack. His black hair was a mess and half of his red eyes were covered by his shades. He wore black gloves as well as a long black trenchcoat with short sleeves. A long katana was strapped to his back, he grimaced curtly as he realized that Zack revealed everything. Great now what? Oh well, it was obvious now that it was no longer time to play games. He snapped his fingers and his entire appearance changed.

His hair was now half black, half white. His eyes half red and half green with the shades still on. The black trenchcoat on the man's body were now replaced by a black and white coat and pants. A red scarf covered L's neck and part of his chin. A black fang was on his right cheek while a white one was on his left. L's face was still the same, handsome yet cunning and mischievous. The man sighed and suddenly appeared next to Zack floating along with him, five feet to his left. He crossed his arms and grinned, he was amused.

L was not the simple sly inventor everyone thought he was, he was in fact the second-in-command of this whole charade. His purpose for joining up with Zack? He pitied him. Though he can't tell him that, usually saying he wanted to have some fun when Zack asked his reason for staying with him. After a period of silence, L finally spoke. The words coming out was emotionally-controlled and smooth as silk, "Now what? You destroyed two of the realms already. Might as well destroy Amestris, I manipulated the Homunculis there to do some things too detailed to say. Oh, their are still a few that have a potentially high force, plus Sephiroth is there. So you might want to save those, it'll do good for you not to kill them now." L reported to his leader.

Then he grabbed the katana from his back and threw it at the group with no interest at aiming at one person. It was easy to dodge if they were strong enough. "These heavy weapons are a nuisance." Then he proceeded to dispose of the rest of the weapons by transporting them somewhere else using a portal. When he finished, L raised his hand then flicked his wrist to reveal a deck of fifty-two cards in each hand. He began to shuffle them, the flapping cards being heard throughout the area. "So Zack. What now? I disposed of my identity as L." He asked tactfully, revealing that his name was not L.

[Squall]

Zack quickly dodged Vincent's attack, he moved at lighting fast speed.He showed no expression upon seeing Kyon. His eyes then shifted to him as he spoke once again.

: I told you not to call me Zack. I've relinquished that name, Its Releguel. I hope you remember it next time. As for Amestris...why not? Its only dead weight, and you already brought me the Crystal. I'll transport the ones there here...

Zack; now known as "Releguel", created another portal. This showed Amestris, he grabbed out all the people with potential and brought them to the End of time. Shorty after, he threw another blast at this realm. Thus, destroying it with much ease. Yet another realm was obliterated with his frightening power.

[Reno]

Reno was so busy trying to regain his wind that he hadn't been able to look up much longer. That blow he received wasn't going to go away from some time yet. It was a lucky thing the dude hadn't completely crushed the wind out of him. Reno was able to breathe but with difficulty. A LOT of difficulty. He coughed some more as he stayed bent over.

The sound of another world being destroyed. This had to stop. This being had to be stopped. How?! They obviously weren't strong enough just yet. The red headed Turk surely attacked knowing this fact. At least he tried. Then, the others attacked this guy claiming he was 'Zack'. Pfft! That man wished he was! By the sound of it he was just a mere shell and not what the actual Zack was like.

Not that Reno really knew that anyways. Of course, the red head had encountered Zack in the distant past but not enough to know him fully. Gritting his teeth, Reno heard someone else's voice. Who was that?! He turned his head upwards and spotted yet another person. This one was on that dude's side. Great! Another baddie! Just what they all needed!

Reno shakily pushed himself off of the ground as he squinted angrily over at them. He was glad not to be in the line of that sword that other man just tossed aside like a toy. Reno couldn't move too well at the moment. Already having taken a serious beating as it was. A rather embarrassing beating but he'd survive.

What would Aeris think of Zack now?! Then again, how could this be the actual Zack?! The man once again blew up ANOTHER realm. "JEEZ!" he exclaimed in shock. Another world gone!

[BlackEcho]

Vincent furrowed his eyebrows at the demolishment of yet another innocent realm. He cleanched the holster of his gun but did not fire, it made no difference. He showed no emotion or attention of L. He barely knew the guy, he could care less of his allegiance, but only if he got in his way.

His eyes trained on Zack, he takes a step forward, out of the way of the katana that was thrown in the midst. A scowl found it's way across his mouth, hidden behind his cloak but the fierceness still shown in his eyes. He never knew that something like this would aggravate him so much.

This was supposed to be Zack, a person, or so he thought, Cloud cared about. He's completely different now, reconstructed maybe, but nothing like his former self. Vincent glanced at L then Zack again. He finally speaks.

"So, Zack." Vincent says, completely diregarding the fact that he wanted to be called by a different name. "If your not going to kill us, then would you mind telling me why you brought us here? Was that all you wanted to show us? Your... 'power?' " He says sarcastically.

[Squall]

Zack glanced over at Vincent as he spoke again.

: I wanted to see your progress...but as you are now, you're of no use to me yet. Trust me, when you're all ready, I WILL kill you. But until then...

Zack then transformed his arm into a gun that looked just like Vincent and shot him in the legs. Afterwards, he transformed his arm in to a rod just like Reno's and hit Kail in the stomach with it.

[Kail Lancaster]

Kail saw the strike and parrys the blow and makes it miss but the blow was quite strong and caused Kail to drop the sword that parryed the rod strike.With the other hand he slashes Releguel across the chest the runes on the blade glowed as he slashed him doing moderite damage to him but made Kail clutch his left hand after the strike.

[Reno]

Reno glared up at 'Zack'. He was way too powerful. Then, he decided to tried to get to his feet. Most of his buddies were getting their tails kicked. "Foo-foolish idea!" he said. It was obvious how much damage he had taken as he struggled to speak. "By then...we-we'd be stronger than you!" he said. Finally able to breathe more easily.

This was probably going to get him another blow to the stomach or what not but Reno didn't care at the moment. "If I'm not m-mistaken...Aeris wasn't the vio-violent type. She wouldn't w-wan-want you to do this!" he said. The pain from trying to stand making it hard for him to speak without wincing.

The exertion of having to stand made Reno once again sit on the ground. A wave of exhaustion swept through him. How much more of this could they all take?! Sure, Zack said he wasn't going to kill them until they were strong enough but, at this rate, he'd kill someone if he wasn't careful. Reno wasn't sure about Squall's and Vincent's conditions now. Last he saw of Squall he had been tossed into the gunfire from Vincent's gun. As for Vincent, the other had gone to shoot his knees!

Kail had just parried a blow. The weapon Zack had looked much like Reno's metallic rod. Deciding to at least draw the other's attention off and still being stubborn, Reno lifted his own metallic rod and then aimed it at Zack. He surged a lightning spell out of it at him.

Vincent tries to sidestep again, avoiding one of the bullets, but the other one meeting its target right on. He curses silently as he goes down in a kneel, but he raises his gun anyway, pointing it at Zack again and shooting relentlessly, once again powering it by his magic in fire-powered bullets.

[Squall]

Squall had been injured gravely. He had been blown away, and been shot several times. He tried to make sense to what the hell was going on. However, the pain was too great and Squall fell unconscious.

[Reno]

Reno didn't know if his attack was going to make much difference. He was too busy wincing most of the time. He managed a glance towards the others to see how they were faring. By the look of things, it didn't look too good. His eyes fell on Vincent whom had just been shot in one knee.

'This is getting ridiculous!' he thought. Seeing how grim their situation was. He then peered towards Kail whom was still on his feet surprisingly. Balthier seemed unharmed at the moment. How angry Reno was but couldn't do anything about their current problem. Maybe if he had teleporting powers then he could help but sadly, life wasn't that easy apparently.

His eyes fell on Squall and his eyes widened. Squall's injuries looked horribly life threatening and the guy was unconscious. "SQUALL!" he called out even though it was probably useless. Reno made to move to see how bad his comrade's injuries were but was held back by another shot of pain surging through his abdominal region. That punch really got him.
