OOC-This is after Squall's death at the end of time.
The group comes back after there long ordeal with Zack and Kyon as they are now back in the Balthier's Airship. Kail was the youngist one out the intire team he goes off to his bunk.
"Now I'm all alone now" he said sadily as he was the last person alive from the Earth realm. Kail was siting on his bunk bed in a corner his knees are brought near his chest. Tears fall as he morns his friends that he met and his sister that he found again where now dead at the hands of Zack.

Reno remained silent for a time. Not saying a word as he entered the airship. Averting any eye contact with the others at the moment. He was pissed off and sad at the same time. Not a good combination considering the fact that red headed men tended to be very hot headed when angry or saddened. Having both, well...harder to explain.
He went to the farthest end of the airship by himself and stared out a nearby window in the wall he was leaning up against. 'Those bastards!' he thought. Furious and then saddened to have lost a friend. His blue eyes went distant though his face had a hardened expression on it. Granted Balthier said there was a chance of bringing Squall back. However, Reno didn't know if it'd work.
Plus, those jerks...how he wanted to see THEM suffer for a change. 'He was so young!' thought Reno. Squall was one of the younger members of the group. Being around the same age as Kail. It irked Reno to see a younger person killed. It just wasn't right. Why'd they have to be so weak?! Why'd they have to suffer?! Reno shook his head before sighing in frustration. "...We'll avenge your death..." he said in a low tone as he glared out the window.
Angry at having lost and having lost a good friend. Granted him and Reno never really got along too well but still... Not to mention the worlds that were wiped out as though they were nothing. How many MORE people died...more life taken away...it was all terrible. Those fiends would have to pay for what they've done. Sadly, they all weren't strong enough yet to do something about it. Why did 'Zack' act up like that at the mention of Aeris's name?
Reno, sick of leaning against the wall, got up and proceeded to walk down the airship's hall. Walking aimlessly. Not really intending to head anywhere within the airship. Too caught up with what happened back there. The pain he got from the embarrassing beating was very light now. Enough where he was able to walk around without wincing unless he tried to move swiftly or something like that.

Once they were back on the ship, Vincent merely watched as Kail and Reno went their seperate ways, looking mournful. He, however, had his usual apathetic expression plastered on his own as he made his way toward the ships control room.
He had a hard time expressing sorrow for a person he did not know very well, and it often did take him much more time for him to trust someone than it usually did. Perhaps he would've been different, if she hadn't died. And him...
Vincent clenched his fists as he tried to waive his past thoughts away, but he could not help but think, if things would have been different, would he himself still be alive? Instead of walking around, a corpse with a bit of stagnant lifestream and a beast he couldn't control within him. He shouldn't of let it happen, being the lab rat that he was.
If all this hadn't happened, if he really was still alive, would he have been able to prevent Squall's death?

(I guess I'll reply since no one has since Black Echo!)
Reno paused as he entered another area of the airship. The inner walls of this ship somehow made the problem he was having more difficult to cope with. Maybe he should just head for the deck? Get some fresh air. Then he remembered the worlds being destroyed and Kial having lost his homeworld.
What would Reno have done if his was destroyed as well? Probably go berserk like Kail, no doubt. He wondered how the kid was handling it. Kid...PFFT! Teenager not kid! Reno bit his lip as he wondered about this mentioned magicite. Could it really bring back Squall? If so, would they be able to or would a price have to be payed in return before it can do so?
He wasn't sure. All he knew was, he was depressed like most of them were. The loss of a friend, even if there was a chance of bringing them back, hurt a lot. Just to think Reno gave him a hard time with his clowning around. Some occasions, Reno meant it but other times he hadn't. 'Maybe I should've acted less like a clown?' he thought. Feeling unnecessary guilt.
His blue eyes caught Vincent acting like he always did. Honestly, Reno couldn't understand the guy. Then again, it wasn't his business how others acted so he stopped himself from bugging Vincent before he even did. Their chances of surviving this ordeal seemed quite slim now. What could they do? How were they to fight that guy...well, guys?!
It angered Reno to know those fiends had harmed them all like they were nothing. How they killed others ruthlessly. He balled a fist at the thought and memory of before. Punching his hand into the hard wall. Not affecting the wall in the slightest and making his hand hurt a lot. Reno didn't care as he simply stared down at his hand. Looking at the red swollen knuckles. It was times like these that made Reno drink more than he usually did...and that was saying something.
Reno could drink more than five beers in one go. Times like these though....made it even worse. Often leaving Reno either drunk out of his mind or passed out on the floor. Sadly, there was no beer around here so he was left to confront such matters.

"Are you all done?" Balthier says from an elevated position. He touches a glowing sphere in the air as he looks to the others to follow. Once Baltheir touches the sphere, he teleports to another area.

Vincent frowns as he watches Baltier disappear from sight, but he rolls his shoulders and walks over to the sphere, oaching it with the palm of his gauntleted hand. He instantly disappears like Balthier did.

Kail gets out of his emo pity party and has one thing on his mind now is revenge as walks up to the telaport orb and touches it and goes to Balthier's location.

Reno merely raised an eyebrow upon hearing Balthier. He turned his attention towards him. There was some kind of sphere in the man's hands. What the heck was that thing going to do? He thought about it for a second. Was he done?! No....then again, if he didn't do anything soon he was sure to go insane.
Reno watched as Balthier disappeared and soon Kail and Vincent had. Deciding to move it before they continued without him, Reno approached the sphere. Uncertainly touching the sphere. Heading off to wherever the others were headed.

As the group teleports, they find themselves in the center of a large chamber. To any direction is another warp sphere as Balthier looks around agitated.
"Great...like rats in a maze.." He muses as he tries to get an idea of what is going on.

Vincent teleports in next to Balthier, his eyes narrowing as he notices all the transport spheres in the location. He rolls his eyes, yet another puzzle to solve. He takes a few steps forward in front of Balthier, careful not to touch any of the spheres, lest he be teleported to an entirely different area.
He comenses trying to examine his surroundings, perhaps the environment around each sphere would indicate which area the group would be teleported to.

However, Balthier finds no difference in between the spheres. He shrugs as he goes to the north sphere and touches it. He is teleported into a battle! A large undead ogre appears before Balthier.

Vincent rolls his shoulders again and turns just in time to see Balthier touch one of the other spheres and disappear. Deciding it would b better to keep to te group, he walks over and touches the sphere also.
