Has God forsaken us all?
This question was asked by those who did not immediately succumb to the malady spreading over their world. People watched on as their loved ones turned to stone, knowing that they were soon to follow. The ones that survived were people with the strongest of will. But how did this come to be? Everyone turned to the mysterious powder that suddenly fell from the sky. These incidents weren't just conceived in one realm, but in many others. Still, people asked where the powder had come from, and why? They questioned this, and scientists in each realm tried their best to find a cure to cure the petrifaction before they too turned to stone, but none prevailed.
Unbeknownst to everyone, the realms were actually part of one big world. How they came to be was a mystery in itself. The answers were within The End of Time. A group from there, with power like the gods, had combined the realms together to complete their goal. Their goal was to gather all the crystals from each realm, and they combined the realms to access each one from their own. However, the sad effect of it was the powder that turned people to stone. But the group did not care for the lives of other. They only concerned themselves with duties.
Then one day, people came from each realm. Those, whose will were above than the rest, were transported to The End of Time. What purpose could they have for going there? As they adjusted to where they were, a powerful, mysterious entity appeared before them. A battle soon ensued; only two people did not attack. A mysterious assassin named L, and the powerful mage, Magus. Who's loyal to whom? No one knew each other. Anyone could be an enemy.
The mysterious man demolished the heroes’ combined efforts and laughed as they fell down defeated. He didn't kill them as easily he could. He would let them live; they were no threat to him. Then before he left, he spoke to them. Mocking them.
You're all pathetic.... you’re no threat, squirm in this place, or leave, either way, none of you have a chance against me and my men...We will get them.... the crystals..."
He then disappeared in the darkness, leaving the wounded to come and make their decisions. The group found portals that lead to different realms. Each one was different from the next, so the group separated. Some knowing what the crystals were, while some skeptical in their duty. They were brought together by fate. They were teleported in the End of Time for their strength. Who knows what will become of any of them in the future.
So the story begins there. Every event is a chapter. And what of the end? Will the realms be destroyed at the failure of the heroes? Or would everything be saved? Only time will tell. Mysteries will be unraveled.
The truth shall all be revealed soon enough.
