Squall and the rest had just arrived at the doors of Balamb Garden. The place was seemed like it was raided. Also, the stoned bodies of the students and Squall's friends remained where they were. The 4 men had just encountered two powerful foes. Their powers were unlike anything they've seen in those lands.
"..." Was Squall's reaction upon seeing his home in such a pitiful state. A constant reminder of the home he failed to protect. The only way to atone for this was to find the crystals.
"...Lets get looking for that crystal.." Squall said as he stared at the upper floors of the Garden.

Vincent examined Balamb Garden with ease, his gaze traling over the intricate designs and structures within the building. His eyebrows were raised in slight interest, but lowered when he saw that there were still people made of stone here also.

"Wow this looks like a shcool then some type of milatary base, oh well I guess jump'ed the gun again" said Kail as looked at the Garden. " So Squall does this place have a huge safe or something to keep High profile items locked down and away from the wrong hands" asked Kail.

Squall walked around while looking for something significant. Then, he turned back and sort of raised an eyebrow upon hearing Kail's question.
"...No...The uper levels seemed to have been robbed..but I wonder if they discovered the basement level."
Squall then went ahead to the elevator and waved his arms to the party as a sign to come over. "Come...the entrance is this way, something tells me this is the correct way." Squall said as he got on the elevator.

Reno walked right into Balamb Garden. 'Wow...nice place!' he thought but hadn't said. He was rather interested as to what else lay in store in Squall's home territory. He looked at the stoned people nearby. This made Reno's mood drop a little. Even though he hadn't known these people he still felt bad that they also suffered from the sam fate as the other people in Midgar.
The crystals seemed to be the only way of reviving everyone back to their original states. Hopefully, they'd get to the crystals before the enemy did. Reno was sur they hadn't seen the last of Sephiroth and....was the crossdresser's name Fuja?! He didn't care. With Sephiroth back they had their hands full if he appeared even alone. That's how bad Sephiroth was.
He walked into the elevator and went to the far back wall of the elevator and leaned up against it. Folding his arms as he patiently waited for it to start going up. Not saying a word for the time being.

Squall's eyes widened as he looked down the elevator as it was going down to the lowest level. He had been there only once, and it was a pretty dangerous expererience. He was ready fro the worst.
"Alright guys, prepare yourselves. There are monsters lurking down here." Squalll said as they got to the bottom floor.

Vincent showed no reaction when he learned that there were going to be monsters down here. He'd dealt with a lot in his days, and dealing with a couple monsters would be a simple feat. At least, that's what he thought. He shrugged in response and closed his eyes as they reached the bottom floor.

As the doors of the elevator opened, a bunch of Oil-made wolves came out of nowhere and attacked the party.

Reno raised an eyebrow before looking over at Squall. "Monsters you say? Eh...what else is new?" he replied. He then returned to his casual stature until the elevator door opned to reveal oil-made wolves. Reno stood straight back up as he prepared for a fight.
His metallic rod once again at the ready.

After the battle was over, Vincent sighed and deposited his gun back inside the confines of his cloak. He then began examining the bottom floor to see if there were more monsters.

Squall sighed to see there werent any more monsters around. He procceded guiding the others through the bottom floor of the giant structure. He then came across the room where the Garden's Master was supposed to be. His name was Norg, but Squall and his friend had already defeated them. It seemed it was a dead end, however, Squall looked closely within the capsule where Norg was, he found a switch which opened up a shaft on the floor.
"Hmm..Interesting" Squall said as he peered down the ladder.

Reno looked around once they left the elevator and the monsters had been eliminated. He raised an eyebrow at the sight of this place. It had an eerie feel to it no doubt. He said nothing as he followed the others to wherever. (ooc: sorry it's short but  ! writer's block!) |

(OOC: Shortest post you've ever made  ) Squall looked a Kail and said "Look here...a shaft...never knew this was here. Lets go, but I dont know what's down there.." Squall peered into the dark whole and started going down the ladder. Soon after, the others followed. At the very bottom, the guys found a man. He was wearing armor and carried a sword. Squall approached the man and asked "...Who are you?" The man turned around and revealed himself.  :" I am EX death! With this crystal I shall be invincible! With Kuja's help I was able to find it, and lured you guys here. Now ,you all end now!" (Boss time, I'll make the thread later) |

Quistis walks in after hearing that Squall had been snooping around in places where he shouldn't. Sighing, she follows Squall's trail and ultimately finds the group dealing with ExDeath. A vein appears on he head as she pulls her whip out. She was wearing her SeeD uniform instead of that god ugly pink thing

After the battle, Ex Death laughs at the party's attempt to stop him. He then starts speaking:" The power of this crystal...is great! Screw Kuja and his rules! Im keeping this! Do NOT interefere, or else, I'll will demostrate my true powers! Gahahaha!
With this, he shot out a beam of light an dissapeared, leaving the party to wonder just what had happened.

Quistis shakes her head at the scene. She was agitated that her attack had failed to finish him off entirely and blamed it on her complacence during the peace. She walks over to where the crystal used to be and looks around. She then glares at Squall and everyone else.
"...Why did I have to go on that mission...all this happened and I wasn't here to stop it.."

Reno brought an arm up to cover his face as the bright light emitted. Blinded temporarily as his eyes readjusted themselves. Blinking blearily, he looked around finding no Ex Death or crystal. "Jeez!" he exclaimed in exasperation seeing that their efforts were pointless.
The red headed Turk furrowed his eyebrows as he lowered his head and looked down at the floor angrily. "Now what're we going to do?!" he exclaimed in frustration. There already went one crystal already. What were they going to do now?! Reno wondered if they'd even manage to save everyone at this rate. Sure they were getting stronger slowly but since this fight it seemed like it just wasn't enough yet.
He then looked up over at the woman that showed up. Raising an eyebrow due to the fact she reminded him of Scarlet. How he had HATED that psychotic woman! However, she may have appeared like Scarlet but definitely didn't have that sinister attitude. Well....not from his first impression of her. She appeared to be the controlling type. Like Scarlet but not quite! He raised an eyebrow seeing her glaring at them. 'Yep, another control freak like Scarlet!' he thought.

"Oh...hey instructor Treppe.." Squall said as he shook his head. They were all dissapointed since they were too late in stoping Ex Death from taking the Crystal. However, something rung in Squall's ear. It seemed Ex Death had tasted too much of the Crystal's power, and was now on a ramapge.
"Well...it seemed Kuja wanted us to come here and be exterminated by this guy...seems his plan backfired...since he ran away with the crystal....We should hunt him down before Kuja and Sephiroth get to him." Squall said as he looked at the group.

Quistis just stifles a laugh at Squall's greeting. That was very much like him to do so, ever since he was still in her classes. She then notices Reno staring at her as she looks at him.
"Can I...help you?" Quistis had noticed Reno giving her more than a passing glance and Quistis did not know what to make of this strange red headed individual. Shrugging it off, she then looks at Squall.
"...So, I suppose we need to figure out where he will head next."

Reno mentally kicked himself when the other, Instructor Treppe from what he heard Squall say in greeting, noticed he had been looking at her weird. He hadn't been checking her out just thought how her likeness with Scarlet was uncanny in appearances not attitudes....well....maybe a little! Bringing a hand to the back of his head to rub it as a nervous reaction he laughed a bit nervously.
"Oops! Sorry 'bout that it's just you look a lot like someone I know back where I come from!" he said with a nervous grin on his face. Obviously, she wasn't one to anger even though she showed a positive attitude towards Squall by giggling. He didn't want to feel that whip on his arm or anything at all.
He then was glad to hear Squall speak as he glanced over to him. Nodding, he replied "Yeah...sounds a lot better than what any of us may come up with!" Glad to take his attention off this Instructor Treppe. 'I sure hope her anger tantrums aren't as bad as Scarlet's!' he thought.

After the battle, Vincent got up slowly from the ground. He was silently cursing himself to be one of the few one's to fall during battle. Though his poise did no falter now, he looked defiantly at Quistis as he sized her up with his crimson eyes but then paid no more attention to her as he deposited his gun back into the confines of his cloak. He was, once again, silent.

'...These two make an interesting match...' Squall thought as he watched Reno and Quistis.
"well...Any bright ideas?...I dont know were we need to go to find this guy..." Squall said as he looked up the ceeling. The mobile garden might take them anywhere they wanted to. But without a destination, it was useless.
He leaned on the wall as he started to think. It was something he always did, he tried to get an idea of where to go next.

Quistis walks towards the ladder heading up.
"Well you guys can sit here and wonder. Meanwhile I am going to look up the Garden database for information about this..ExDeath guy and that crystal he took."
With that Quistis began to make her way up the ladder.

Reno felt like he was being watched and looked back at Squall. 'What's his problem?!' he thought. Oblivious to what Squall was thinking. He then looked over to Vincent whom seemingly had a sour expression and Reno really couldn't blame him. He then brought his attention back over to Treppe when she spoke.
'Sheesh! Why must there be another Scarlet!?' he thought before then looking at Squall. The red head furrowed his eyebrows in thought. He really hadn't any ideas as to where to head off to. He didn't know this place very well.
"Well....I don't really know this place so....maybe it's up to you and your instructor!" replied Reno with a mere shrug before putting both hands behind his head and leaning against the nearby wall. "Did you happen to have any cameras on this thing that might've caught him on them? Maybe that'll tell ya which direction to go?" he suggested. It was a random thought of his and really didn't think it'd help in the least but then again...one never really knew.

Quistis stays focused on the screen for a moment even after Squall asked until she finds something. She turns around to look at Squall and the others.
"Well, I don't see anything in here about any crystals, but I did find something about a place named Guido attached to the name of ExDeath...but that's it. Any other information is encrypted, and unfortunately Selphie was the hacker of our little group..." Quistis sighs.
