After a few days of drifting at sea. Squall, Quistis, Reno, Kail, and Vincent arrived at the prospering town of Guido. The towns people kept running back and forth carrying merchandise, it seemed they would have trouble finding EX-Death in such a crowd.
".....Where is he...?" Squall said to himself as he looked around.

Reno watched the people running around like chickens with their heads cut off. "....Maybe we should ask if anyone's seen a dude that looks like he was on steroids clad in armor?" suggested Reno. Looking over to Squall. He was actually glad to have reached land rather than spending his time cooped up in such a place.
Not that the Garden was small but the creepy feel of the stoned people made his nerves go haywire. Reno hadn't drunk in quite a time. Luckily for the scenery inside the Garden was depressing enough to make someone actually drink. A drunk Reno wasn't a good thing either. It was a good thing that Squall and the others haven't been able to see that side of Reno just yet.

Kail looks over to Reno " Well a good place to find info are going to Bars and other places like that, Mercs and people like them have good info ,if there not drunk that is" Kail said to the gourp.
He looks at them"What you do'nt think I have not done this before right.

"Pubs? Good Idea, this town should have a pub..right...over..there." Squall said as pointed north where a medium sized building that had the sign "PUB" in the front. Squall then lead the group towards the building. Once inside, Squall told the group "....Now...we're here for info...dont get drunk."
He then looked over to his side to find people talking. He started looking around for something, or someone to mention ExDeath.

Kail walked in to the pub and started gatering info as he was going from table to table until he came to one table. At this table were a group of people one guy and three girls. The guy was wearing a blue shirt and white pants the guy and brown hair, the one siting to his right was one of the girls. She had pink hair and was wearing a orange dress with a blue belt around her waist the next one had a pirate captins uniform and had purple hair, the last one was the youngest one there she had bloned hair in a pony tail being held by a red ribbon and had a blue dress. As Kail got closer to the group he picked up the last part of the conversation.
"Damn it I thought we got rid of Ex Death a few years ago but now the world as fused once again and he's back and coming after the Crystals again do we ever get a break from this" the guy said.
"What the heck" thought Kail. "This might be the best lead we have" he thought again and walked over to Squall. "Squall see that group over there"Kail points over to the group " They know some thing about Ex Death so do you think that they can help us" Kail said to Squall.

"....Doesnt hurt to try..." Squall said as he looked at the 4 individuals. He then slowly approached the group and spoke
"...So are you looking for Ex Death? We fought him a while ago...he took one of the sacred Crystals...do you know where he might be?"
The only guy in the group then turned to Squall and responded him
" Huh!? You FOUGHT him and survived? Who are you guys...? Oh, Im Bartz. That's Lenna, Faris, and Cara. Us 4 fought and destroyed Ex-Death a couple of years ago...though...I dont know how he's back...someone of greater power must be responsible.." Bartz said.

"Yeah well anyway you guys got any info for us to go on" asked Kail as he walked over to the table. "We got owned by that guy and he stole the crystal that we found, not only that he also controlled Leviathan to attack us on the way here" as he pulled a chair from a empty table and sat down next to the group.

Reno silently walked into the pub as he glanced around at the nearby people. The Turk then glanced over to the bartender and was just about to order himself a drink when Squall just said not to get drunk. 'Darn!' he thought before soon avoiding the bartender and proceeding to glance around. A cluster of people spoke to Squall and Reno looked over curiously.
The red head walked up to where the others were and found a nearby empty seat. Reno placed himself there as he put his hands behind his head and put both booted feet casually on the table as he focused his attention on what these guys were going to tell them.

"Well...there's a castle that used to be his just west of here...across the big bridge. He's most likely there..." Said Faris
"Be careful though, if he's back, he must have brought his minions back as well." Said Lenna
"Let us go with you!" Said Cara
"No...These guys can handle themeselves...but take this with you. Said Bartz as he gave the party a new power.

Reno looked at this odd bunch of people. Keeping his mouth shut. He usually had a few things to say but right now he wasn't up to it. However, when they were all handed the Thunder Spell, Reno jumped to his feet nearly having knocked the table down. "Alright! Thanks!" he exclaimed excitedly.
He then looked at his retractable metallic rod and half smiled. This would help a great deal in getting that spell to work more....precise. He pressed the button on his metallic rod and electricity was finally surging through it. Reno smiled but then pressed the button to turn it off quickly for he almost accidentally hit someone with the rod just then.

"...Thanks..." Squall said as he got up from the table. Their sights where now set towards Ex-Death's castle west of the town. Having gained more power, and a brand new summoning spell, he couldnt help but feeling a bit confident. However, he had fough ExDeath before, he simply laughed at their efforts. The confidence suddenly turned into doubt.
Squall then asked the group a question
"..What exactly is ExDeath and what does want with the crystal...?"
Bartz and the group looked at Squall and proceeded to respond his question
"Ex Death is an evil wizard that was originally a spiritual tree. The ancient people of this planet sealed countless demons and curses within that tree as a mean to proctect themeselves. However, the tree took human form. That was Ex Death." Said Bartz
"...A few years ago, he wanted to use the power of 'Void', to return the world to nothingness. We thought he had been devoured by it...but he's back now...and that seems to be his objective all over again." Said Lenna
"...Void is the ultimate power that separates this world with countless others, it was sealed once. But Ex Death seeks to use your Crystal to undo the seal and lay the world to waste. He's killed countless people." Said Faris
"...I lost my grandfather to him. Please, you must stop him. Be careful, I dont know who you guys are...but somehow, we have faith." Said Cara

Kail's Jupiter rune flared as he got the spell thunder spell. "Thank you very much" he then gets shocked by Reno's rod. "Oh that tingels" he said as then turned to Reno,"Make sure you do that outside next time Reno".
"Well then Squall ....." A loud explotion whent off. "What the heck was that" said Kail. A man runs into the Pub "Run a hole pack of Bombs a here run for it". Kail then turns to Squall "Uh Squall what are Bombs" Kail asked Squall.

Reno laughed a bit nervously before turning his rod off. "Heheh! Erm...Sorry Kail!" he apologised. How was it that Kail was still standing after that? It tingles! Reno merely shook his head before keeping a careful eye on himself with the rod and carefully kept it away from any passersby.
'Jeez! I'm now a walking powerline! Have to be careful...I don't want to end up zapping anyone else by accident. Luckily, Kail was able to withstand that.' he thought. Backing away from any people that walked nearby or passed him.

"Dammit! Bombs?!" Yelled Bartz
"Squall was your name was it?, Ex Death must be seding his forces to attack us, we'll protect this town, you guys get across the Big Bridge and get into his castle! Be careful though, its crawling with monsters!" Said Faris
Squall eyes widened to see the 4 other warriors fight the monsters with great skill. "You heard them, lets go!" He said as he ran outside of town and towards the bridge.
